  1. Really? I was under the impression Domi has added the extra jewels to many members A7750 non-Swiss ETA movements.
  2. It broke when the site went down recently.
  3. Welcome to RWG. You might want to remove your email, otherwise you may start to get a lot of spam mail.
  4. Congrats, but I don't see your photos
  5. Domi, a modder next door adds extra jewels to the 7750 with sec@6 movement for €300.
  6. LOL, thats one thing I don't miss, hangovers! Been three months off the pop myself, and would rather put the month into my hobby instead of down the loo.
  7. Great first post. Well, you don't qualify for selling on here yet, and we do not allow back door sales either. Maybe you would be best off registering at the WUS, and WC forums. (WatchUSeek, and Wrist-Check).
  8. Remove movement, then hands, then dial, and then on the rear of the dial you will find two (in this case of the triangle indice) small vertical holes, in these holes are the short feet of the indice. You would need to push these out, and in doing so, breaking the seal/glue used to hold it in place. Then, you would need to broach the lower of the two holes slightly to the one side (the side to correct the lower part of the point of triangle). Finally, remove any traces of old glue, clean everything up, ensuring all the time not to damage the dial, refit, add some appropriate glue to reseal the triangle feet to the holes/rear of dial. Allow to cure for a few hours, then refit dial to movement, refit hands, refit everything back in the case, but before doing so, ensure inner case and crystal are dust and dirt free, then re-grease back case o-ring, refit, and your done. Note: Before removing the hands as mentioned above, be sure to set the hands at midnight, so then you know the time when refitting the hands. Obviously remove hands in hacking position.
  9. Email him and ask? I know he will be posting an update on his blog soon, but this is relation to his next project. Also hoping he will update about his gen like LV insert.
  10. Greetings from Finland. We too were eating fish yesterday, Salmon, and then BBQ by the lake. Here's the view from our BBQ last night at 8pm..
  11. Congrats I noticed your 12 Indice/triangle is slightly off, and this is quite common with Rolex reps from Andrews supplier. Easy enough fix though if you are confident in doing it yourself, or getting someone else to correct it for you.
  12. The lume has fell out, and is the bottom of the dial.
  13. Logo looks a lot better that some I have seen. Don't sweat it, enjoy! Its a rep
  14. Noticed that too. Something just don't seem right with this watch to me. Now if the seller took the time to take better, more professional photos, maybe this could clear things up one way or another. Or, the poor photos are to hide something? The listing is inaccurate for a start.
  15. Got a link to the V2? I can only find the one on TT that were added to the site in 2008 Its ok, found the V2, This product was added to our catalog on Friday 17 August, 2012. http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=16_137&products_id=9744
  16. Things that look off to me, highlighted by yellow arrows. One of which is the bezel insert, its aligned perfectly at 12, but @6 30 is off. The pearl is strange. Also regarding the bezel insert, the fitting looks crazy off too. Also looks to have a DSSD Minute Hand. Seller states... Something just don't seem right to me, and the seller has great feedback rating too.
  17. Just out of interest, what is this job a college guy can do that pays ALOT?
  18. Yes, you can trust him, you just need to be patient my friend, he has recently had a hard time with a newbie blocking Toro's paypal, so give him a little longer.
  19. The next steps are to measure, make notes, then offer up the gen pushers to the case, measure up again, then tap out those rep pusher tube, and make more measurements before finally cutting them down to size, and tap a thread into them for the gen pushers. Once this is done I will screw in the gen pushers into the new threaded tubes, sealing with some good, waterproof sealant, but not too strong as I cannot unscrew at a later date. Then offer up the modded tube/pusher to find its sweet spot, then bond into place with a very strong 2 part water resistant epoxy resin to ensure water resistance.
  20. Update for you CeeJay mate, the gen pushers do not rotate, so when they are actually screwed into the case, they won't rotate at all. I tried to get a photo of the rep angled cut reset pusher just now, but its tricky to see due to the movement holder.
  21. Thanks. I am unser as the genuine pushers screw into the case, but will check the push part on the pushers later today, if I get time, and check, then let you know. Hope you manage to get your Carrera sorted out mate one way or another.
  22. Without trying to sound like a stuck record here, but please simply stick with our TD's. You have no need to look anywhere else for your reps.
  23. But this is actually not what is preventing the reset button to rotate. Upon closer inspection, I notice that the reset pusher shaft has two flat edges, here's a shot of one of those flat edges... Then when you look closely at the reset tube/hole from the outside of the case, looks normal, and round, but its only when you look at the same tube/hole from inside the case you can see two flat edges on the circumference... So, I am guessing this has something to do with the A7750 reset trigger. These two notches restrict the reset pusher from fitting into the case one of two ways.... I need to take a look inside my franken Carrera, and get some photos of how the rep reset pusher touches the Swiss ETA 7750 reset trigger, as I don't want to be causing any damage to my genuine movement in there.
  24. I found out today mate why the start pusher can be rotated, whilst the reset pusher cannot. The reset pusher, the part which touches the actual movement trigger is cut at an angle. Will post some photos in a second...
