Yep, definitely a brown leather with white stitching strap...then you're set!  But if you like the rubber, that's all that matters!

It feels a ton better!  The rubber was was kind of tough.  Check out panatime.com  they have a large selection of straps...if i recall, you had the white face SA, a nice brown strap with white stitching would look great on that watch.   Prices are reasonable, and only took 2 days for shipping out of NY.

I think this new Panatime leather strap looks much better than the rubber strap that came with the watch.  Received the SA from PC late last week, and haven't taken it off yet! 

Congrats on the new SA!  Enjoy it, and wear it well!  Got mine about a week ago from Joshua, and haven't taken it off yet.  That's a sharp Gen you got there too.

Ok, so the TD reponded with the following regarding the timegrapher results on the QC pics...

Amplitude

The measure of the amount of rotation in the swing of the balance wheel, in either direction.

Amplitude is higher when a watch is lying flat and usually falls when the watch is in a vertical position, due to increased friction. Amplitude can also fall as the watch winds down and the mainspring delivers less power.

Amplitude is a good indicator of the movements health and if is too high or too low, or that changes too much in different positions, can indicate a problem with the movement.

great : 270-310

acceptable : 250-270

If higher / lower?

Ask for a different watch or have your watch serviced

 

Thanks Martijnp...I did read that thread, but just wanted to make sure before I declined the watch. 

I just received my QC pics...on the timegrapher pic...it's showing an Amplitude rating of 324...but all other readings were pretty good...should this be a concern to me??

I received my new PAM last week, and this past Sunday, noticed that the pin in the latch, that sits up against the crown, had fallen out.  Although a very minor issue...seriously annoying.  Just wondered if there was anyone in the CONUS who could fix this, or mod it, so there isn't a big hole in the latch when I look down at my timepiece.  The TD told me to send back to China, but I'm not willing to do that for something so minor.  I would attach a pic, but since this is only my 3rd post, it won't let me.  Any help is greatly appreciated!!
