Either a front loader or a gen like construction. The latter meaning that the screws need to be screwed in (not out) and than the movement ring needs to be turned until the screws fall into a gap making it possible to remove the movement.
Thanks for your reply.
If it is a front loader which did cross my mind.
Would I need a crystal lifter or some other crystal removal tool to get it out?

Cracking Pics mate how much are these ? Dial looks really nice on that one, is the date wheel set properly or is it misaligned a tad ?
Thanks for sharing
You might be right about the date wheel but its hard to tell with the strange angle the date window is cut at.
The original watch is white text on a black wheel so maybe i can get it better If i replace it.
Lots of the AT's out there have various issues, I think this is as good as it gets for now with the display back with proper terminology on it.
and the 8500 on the rotor and pretty accurate indices and hands.
Glad you all like it, I spent a long time hunting it.

My votes for AT as its most versatile and that's good for high wrist time with a gen,try to get an automatic or the noobs will say its a fake

I used a caseback opener to rotate the outer ring so that one by one the screws lined up with the stem hole where i could remove them without the threads stopping them.
Then after a bit of fiddling i got the outer ring out then the movement was in my hand.
Thanks for your excellent advise and and responses everyone, That had me stumped.
