  1. I was searching through some threads today and noticed some pictures of watch boxes with tons of watches. It lead me to start asking how far some of us go. I myself am a noob, but my collection is steadily growing every month. I don't know if this has been discussed, if it has been, this can be considered an update. How many reps do you have? And can you have too many? If so, how many is too many? I have three. a PO, a horrible Yachmaster, and the titanium AMG Ingy. I see myself never going above say twelve in the coming years, but as with any hobby (addiction) i bet it'll be hard to stop myself. The floor is open, I know probably everyone here can beat 3, but who's got the most???
  2. Definately number 1. I think when I look for a replica it's almost always a search for more and more accuracy. If I am concerned about reliability and function, I think I'd get a good reliable non rep watch. For me the excitement is in the search for more and more accuracy. #1 for me.
  3. I'd be in... I am between south and north jersey all the time.
  4. I'd also recommend something along the lines of the chanel, but you coud also try this Burberry from Andrew Click Here Good Luck!
  5. Thanks Admin! Very generous. I'll be posting like crazy. Thanks!
  6. Some of those are HORRIBLE! However I did like a couple. I'd pick the orbit or the Art 8, both from EleeNo. Thanks for the link, interesting ideas for keeping time.
  7. First, it's good that an apology was given and recieved. Way to man up. Good for both of you. I think it's safe to assume, due to the sheer amount of comminucation, that a deal between Beano and V had been arranged and agreed upon. That being said I think there were two mistakes here. First, V, you should never have been trusting enough to purchase goods before you were paid. I've done it, been burned by it, and have learned from it. I suspect that's why you were so understandlby [censored]. Believe me I understand. Second, Beano if you had a qualm about the price you should have brought it up much earlier in your conversations. Bargaining for a lower price is a dishonorable tactic to pull at the 12th hour on someone who has been so helpful to you, especially a non dealer, and especially over such a minimal amount. That's my take on it. Glad to see it's worked out. Good luck to the both of you! First, it's good that an apology was given and recieved. Way to man up. Good for both of you. 8. Got the Titanium IWC Ingy AMG today! It's an incredible rep. It looks so much like the original. The hands are a bit short, but not noticable to the untrained eye. It feels good, and the moment is smooth. The dateweel is off center a small amount, and I think the font is incorrect (most noticable on 5's aqnd 2's) but most wouldn't notice. The engraved AMG back is exact and i would say perfect. The bracelet closes firmly. The AR is good, at least I think so, but I'm still a noob. Overall a great watch. I recommend it to anyone considering it. It feels correct. The lume is fine, but doesn't last very long, but to me that's the least importnant factor on a watch like this. Here are some pics... It's my first time taking pics of watches, so they're not the best. Enjoy. Note the finish. It's accurate. Great Bracelet The details IWC is smooth on the clasp like the original, not etched in Perfect Caseback as far as I can tell Aside from the alighnment of the datewheel and font, and the hands, this watch is perfect...
  9. Thanks, for some reason those icon's aren't showing... Is it because I'm not a VIP member? Would those buttons appear on every post I've made? Quote and reply do, but not edit or delete...
  10. Hello all. I am trying to figure out how to edit one of my reply's. Can I do that, if so how? Thanks for the help. This forum is absolutely great, I'm glad to join.
  11. Glad you all like the twins! They're hypnotizing, now count backward slowly from ten...
  12. Just ordered one from Andrew, the non chrono. I'm not taking chances with a strained movement. Shipped the 22nd. I'll post pics and a review as soon as it arrives. Can't wait.
