Man I really need one of these. I think the parts-hunting process is about to begin again Nice watch! Dave...

Yes folks, my new Monte Carlo 7032 is finally complete. I spent a lot of time sourcing parts from all around the world. The heart of my beauty is a 70's Heuer 7734' but it had a 30 minute chrono. So I had to source the 3 parts needed to convert it to a 45 minute chrono. Not an easy task finding them that's for sure. After I finally got all of the parts I needed, off to Doctor Frankenstein, a.k.a.Mike (MD2020) for the build. Mike took the movement completely apart, cleaned it so good, it looked brand new again. Then using all of the parts I supplied, the build began. Mike even did an Awesome job on a vintage lume on the hands and dial. So here are a couple of quick pics of my new baby. I also had some additional work done by Mike on another watch, but I'll post that another day. Thanks Mike, your work is Outstanding. Dave...

Sorry to hear the news. Not good for you guys across-the-pond at all. So did they just xray the box, open-it-up and them decide they are fakes and keep them? Dave...

New day, new background, same timepiece as yesterday. Dave...

The only problem I can see with this setup is, if someone breaks into your house. You will find a load of Crap right in front of it, as the thief $hits himself and Then steals them all thinking he hit the Mother-Load. :-) Very nice setup. Dave...

I have a dual winder myself. I also wish it could hold more. Just make sure you get one that has adjustable settings for every watch slot / holder. Mine I can set either holder for Turn-direction (CW, CCW, Both) and I can also set each for how many TPD (Turns-per-day) 650, 785, 950 or 1150. Great to have the options, so it will wind any watch. Here's today timepiece. Look familiar to you? It's one of my Raffle winners Don't know if I'll keep it, since I have my 7032 build almost done. Dave...

@ panerai153, yes I did use PP. Maybe I got lucky, but I did receive what I paid for. I hope everything works out for the OP. That is a lot of $$ to lose. I agree, I wouldn't use WU either. Dave...

Yes this is 'somewhat' interesting reading, but Not really. Besides the misspelling, tomas has been here 4 years and Only has 94 post I'm new here, but have been on many other forums for Years! If he really wants to go through with his 'plans', he will only get banned on every other forum too. I don't know Z, but if that's what he wants to do to his so-called 'friends' then I guess we don't really need him back or other members like'm. I'm not trying to [censored] anyone off here, like I said, I'm new here and don't know Z but this is all basic forum etiquette. Dave...

Yeah, you could say Mike does a pretty good job. Here's my little project I sent him in many different pieces. And here is what he did with those pieces and a Dirty movement. Now he has another watch of mine to work on. Thanks Mike, Dave...

Just pulled the trigger on a new straight razor
Aero_Dave replied to david.the.marvelous's topic in Style and looks
Nice razor. I used to use and collect straight razors, many, many years ago. I don't even know what happened to most of them. I think I may still have a few stored away in the attic someplace. I think I even have a few nice old straps too. I miss using them, they do give a great shave, once you know how to use them. Dave... -
Congrats, wear it well. It won't be your last rep, they are habit forming ;-) Dave...
