  1. Now that is a very nice timepiece. And built by one of the Best watch-smiths around. Top notch quality build. Enjoy yours for along time. Mike built my 16610 and I wear it proudly everyday! Dave...
  2. I guess it would depend on why you're asking. If you only want to purchase one gen it would be the sub 16610. My sub would probably be the same answer if I only had to wear one forever. But like most luckily I don't have to wear or own just one. Dave...
  3. Just playing around a little with PaintShop Pro X6. Black & White photo, then I touched-up the markers to make the lume brighter white. I also did inside the date window. You can do a lot with this software. I'm just using the 30 day demo for now. Dave...
  4. The 16610 again today. IT was a Rainy 4th-of-July, but the Sub didn't mind at all. Dave...
  5. Not my style, but a cool idea and will probably be a money maker. I'm guessing these are about $15 to make. OK, even if we say as high as $50, selling them for $175 is a good profit! Dave...
  6. NO, I would not used WD-40. Its not a Dry Lube! Dave...
  7. Looks great. Now that you have this much work into it, might as well get a gen dial & hands next! Dave...
  8. +1, I call my 16610 Sub a Franken. Some might try to call it a Super Franken, or Uber Franken but not me. Everything on mine is gen except the case, bezel ring, bracelet and movement. Although I do have some gen parts on my Y3135 movement also, like the date disc & main spring! Dave...
  9. I have to say; I read a lot of Tips, Trick, Short-Cuts, etc… and most don’t really live up to my expectations. But I finally tried the ‘Bracelet Lube’ treatment using the Rock-n-Roll Extreme Wet Chain Lube. Man I have to say, this stuff Really makes a difference. I just separated my bracelet in two half’s, put each one is a small plastic baggie. Shake the bottle, squirt some in each bag and just rub it around the bracelet for a few minutes. You will see the blue color change a little as the dirt hiding inside the bracelet comes out. After letting is sit for only about 5 minutes, I just removed the bracelet parts and wiped them down with a paper towel. I did not wash it and I don’t think you need to. Since this is a Dry lube, is doesn’t leave behind any oily residue. The bracelet is very quiet now and just feels so much better. So, although this is just another post about the bracelet lube trick, you still should try this if you haven’t already! Dave…

  12. Actually I like to looks of that idea. Add a matching red seconds hand and it would be really sweet. Dave...
  13. Yes I use to drive it a lot. But it was like 3 hours of riding followed by 3 hours of cleaning. Nothing wrong with keeping your ride clean. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Today is a PAM day, while surfing RWG forum Dave...
  15. I wish! It was a basic 1966 Skylark with a 350 in it. Fun to drive, but no Real power. It was a very clean car and it got a lot of thumbs-up from people when driving it. Previous 'Toy' was a 1959 Chevy Apache Pickup with a 283 .30 over. In between these I had a Harley Road King, completely custom built with an S&S 124, Baker 6-Speed, Rinehart Dual Exhaust, Barnett Scorpion Clutch & tons of Chrome Ah yes, 'TOYS', got'a have them Dave...
  16. Did someone say Drop Top Ah dam, I forgot I sold it 2 years ago. It was my daily driver to work from April to September. Dave...
  17. Ah thanks! I sit in an air conditioned office all day, so I don't care if its 80-90 out. I still wear my tie & cufflinks! Dave...
