I have the same $98 strap on my SA. It is of good quality and it is much more comfortable than the bracelet. It looks great on yours. Congrats. Also, you can buy a tool that helps with swapping the straps. The info as well as step by step sizing instructions are on the Breitling source website.

I bought this exact watch a month ago. It is not cream color at all. It is white and it is a beauty. Just as good looking as my gen to the naked eye. I also like trying out different straps. They all look good. As the guys on here told me, just buy it and don't worry about it.

hans - the link that I mentioned was Breitling Source. Great info. Indy - Yeah, it wasn't bad at all once I got the right screw driver. I got my Bergeon tool in the mail yesterday and swapped our the bracelt for the strap. Also easy, except for filing down the rubber which took some patience. Worth it in the end and I can now swap out between the two. Loving it!

looks nice. I need to get a leather strap myself. How is the comfort level compared to the rubber?

Thanks guys. They are both gorgeous. I personally like the Gen better of course. The pics don't do it justice, it is truely gorgeous and only 2000 made. I put the SA on a Ocean diver strap today. I got it from trevor and this thing was TOUGH to get on. had to file it down at every turn. The strap is more comfortable and I think I will use it as my every day wear for the time being.

Got a Super Avenger from Trevor and I must say it is a beautiful rep. Besides a few flaws (bracelet, bezel) it is stunning. Just as beautiful as my gen. Thanks for all the advice guys Gen is a Montbrillant 47 Limited Edition.

I went to my local jeweler at lunch and he couldn't take any links out nor could he put on the Ocean diver strap I bought. He was useless. He couldn't tell if it was real or not either. I guess I will try the mall this weekend.

I am certain there are posts about this so my apologies. My search didn't return any resuls. I just got my first Rep in the mail from trevor. It is a beautiful Super Avenger. I need it sized with the bracelet and strap I bought as well. Of course I am not going to take it to my AD whom I bought a gen from. My question is will any jeweler size it for me? Would then know or care that it is a rep? I am going to buy the tool to swap them out myself, but in the mean time would like to get it done asap so I can wear it. thanks

Good advice. I don't know how to take them down. Maybe a mod could erase them or delete this post or someone could advise me. I figured there would be a "edit this post" button somewehere. But I can't find it.

On second thought I can zoom in on the pics he sent and everything looks good. The only thing is no loop on the B and the font may be off on the date. I think that is common though with reps.

Never bought a rep before but based on these boards I was going to pickup a SA from Trevor. I could get it cheaper from a local place. I just got one from an AD. Great experience. They will give 15-20% discount. Still a bit higher than gray market but worth it. Breitling won't work on a gray market. I am already about to send mine in.
