@PeteM it's an unmodded secs@12 with an A7750 movement...btw you're right I can sell it and enjoy my diver
-
It's not a sale thread... Simply, I ask other opinions coz is difficult to find anither ROOs already in EU, so I have to be sure.
And mate, if I decide to sell, I'll open a thread on rwi not here -.-
-
Probably I'll end sell it

If someone have nothing to say, better option imho is stay silent.

So? I've sold many reps and many gens in my life, what's your problem dude?
Being a noob on rwg dosent mean being a noob in the watches world

Today it's time for my loved gen vintage RO! (Ref. 14486st)
<3 -
After buying an AP diver 3.5, I've sold all my reps, except an AP ROOs chrono black dial with steel bracelet (and obviously the diver).
Considering that I have 6 gens, and that I consider the diver the best "out of the box" rep ever made, would you sell the ROOs chrono or not?
Thanks a lot, ressmeplz.

Ask for another one. The strap plot screws in the case look a bit stripped as well.
agree

I have a 3.5, go with the 3.5
Best thing to do, imho, is buy the clone version and swap the movement later, so you are sure that the swiss eta is really swiss

Hi.
I've been away for some time, and most of you guys don't know or remember me.
That's fine.
The reason I quit buying reps are the quality issues and the feeling "I knew that pos would brake down" when something happens to your watch.
My local watch repair guy died last year, and a new guy continued the business. He's scratched dials, broke a movement completely. So I won't go to him anymore.
I've spent thousands of dollars buying and repairing broken watches.
I have some questions regarding the market today:
1. How do the Asian etas compare to the swiss ones?
2. Will they accept swiss parts if they need to be fixed in the future?
3. Any reliable watchrepair guys in Europe (who will service and waterproof watches)?
4. Anyone in Europe who's reluming dials?
I guess that's all my friends.
Thanks for taking time reading this!
1. Swiss is better, obviously
2. Theoretically, yes

He promise a trade, but he sent an old strap instead of the watch

If the hand clearence works out, yes! Also the stem hight is slightly different but most tubes have enough tolerance to accept the difference.
Tnx again

It''s bases on availability. As he 2824 and 2836 are almost the exact same apart from the aded day function on the 2836 they use what ever they can get their hands on. When it comes to quality both movements are the same.
So, for example, I can switch my 2836 with my 2824, if I change the dateweel?
tnx
Any interest for a crown height conversion kit?
