  1. Very nice job. Your hard work definitely paid off. Lots of patience. (I know I don't have the talent or patience to do either one of my Fighters..Oh well) Congrats. Deen
  2. Good post from Offshore. You might consider taking your watch to a dealer to get it sized unless you have the tools. Even on the screw in pins you can strip the screws, scratch the bracelet or stick the screwdriver into your finger. The pins on the Omegas are also real bears. If you have watch tools, you can do as Offshore says and get some good advice here. A dealer probably wouldn't charge more than $5- $10us. Good luck and enjoy. Deen
  3. Glad it's working. I found that my watch will not stay wound sometimes, even on the winder set the same as my other 7750's, so I just wind it occasionally. Trouble, but I do really like the looks of the watch and The Zigmeister says it doesn't hurt to wind the 7750. I have the black rubber strap on mine. Enjoy the watch Steve. Deen
  4. Lee, If you push the top pusher button once, it will start the chronograph. pushing it again stops the chrono. Pushing the bottom pusher button resets all the chrono windows to zero. The suggestions of the experts here are to let the chrono run for awhile once you start it, and don't overdo it...or, you'll have more problems. Nice watch (and nice rod) Deen
  5. You're a funny guy!!!
  6. I got the same watch from Andrew. I had a problem with the chrono reset button, but it seems to work OK now. It is hard to wind, but I did wind mine about 40 revolutions and it keeps running (on the winder) and keeps good time so far. The chrono works, but occasional burps. Typical 7750 I guess. I don't want to give bum advice, but I'd try and wind it, even if it is hard to do. Unless you can tell it will obviously break something. Good luck. I really like the watch, but it hasn't been on of my best 7750's Deen
  7. I always felt like after Sean Connery the Bonds became more pretty boys and played up more to the Bond humor. It was refreshing to me to see a return to the rougher character. I enjoyed this one more than the last few. James did get his butt kicked a bit though.
  8. My first rep (other than the AlohaBowl fleamarket Rolex) was a TT from Andrew. I didn't know much about reps, and happened across RWG I. Helped me make a smarter decision than I would otherwise have made...That said, the TT is very close to pictures of the gens I have seen. It looks great, keeps excellent time, and gets many compliments. I went with the 18K gold plate, and I know there is a lot of discussion about that, pros and cons. I like it. So...I recommend Andrew. He and I have done business many times since, and he has always given me good advice and great watches. Good luck and enjoy whichever you choose. Deen
  9. Just got the TAG Carrera. The pictures don't do it justice. Beautiful watch. The only problem I see is with the strap. I think the watch looks better with the strap, even though most of my watches are on bracelets.....but, the strap doesn't bend straight down from the lugs, so it will fit a larger wrist much better. Because of the depth of the case, there is a gap between the strap and wrist. (my 7 inch wrists). Other than that, I really like the watch.
  10. ~oM~ I recommend upgrading your membership here to VIP. Trivial expense and it will help the forum and let you use more of the great tools available here. Deen
  11. Good choice. The 111 is a classic. I'm sure all the PAM lovers here will agree with your choice, and Davidsen is the way to go with PAMs. I'm looking forward to my 177H. Enjoy, and welcome to the forum. Deen

  13. You can also go here: password MMX http://s40.photobucket.com/albums/e230/watchmmx/ You'll still have to email him for prices. You can also look at the forums accessory dealers section and click on davidsen for his current ads
  14. ...and which one should i pick to order from.....andrew or davidsen....which one do u think holds the best reputation when it comes to panerais....thankx Both good and reputable dealers. I've ordered more than 10 reps from Andrew with excellent service and excellent watches. I am now waiting on a PAM 177H from Davidsen. The difference in price with davidsen is based usually on his mods. The watch I'm waiting on has the improved cannon pinnion, superlume, Davidsen dial and crown, etc. If you buy a PAM from Andrew, you'll get a nice watch. If you want the right cannon pin/lume/etc. then you'll have to pay somewhere else to get these extras. Once again, both good dealers, nice watches...all about the details. The Asian 7750 has a reputation for problems, however, if you search the forum and read the reviews (The ZigmeisterZumba) you'll find that it can be a good movement. I have four with 3 months of no problems, but I'm really a newbie with limited experience. From my perspective, I'd go with the less expensive Asian as my first rep, then as you get smarter from all these great minds here, and form your own opinions, you can move up or just buy more. Good luck. Deen
