I mean that looks near gen magnified. Maybe even too magnified. Hard to tell from this angle.
But I know Andrew sends QC pics so I'm curious as to why this wasn't caught before delivery. If he wasn't happy with the magnification…. Hmmm
Specs mean nothing… I this any comparison of specs is pointless. Its how the OS uses those specs and regardless of what you think of apple they have to be given credit for always providing a very fluid experience. Mac or IOS.
Now I am not defending apple and the new reports of the "bending" phones but if you're putting excessive force on the phone in a place that should be experiencing the load expect negative results. Phone in your back pocket? Like someone said look at our wallets, they adjust to our rears… Stupid people are everywhere! This is why we can't have nice things! ha
Again, very nice watches. Glad you were able to get the damaged one back up to its former glory. I remember talking to you last year when you were starting to source parts.
BP SS GMTc: gen bezel assembly, gen crystal, dial/hands relumed
BP TT GMTc: gen TT bracelet, gen bezel assembly, gen crystal, dial/hands relumed
BK/WM9 16613: gen TT bracelet, gen crystal, gen crown, gen insert
Insert kills this watch…. Im a HUGE TT fan but the insert is tough to swallow…
I haven't seen the flat blue in person so I can't speak to that one. I will say the sunburst rep (favorite gen rolex dial) model fails. Strong purple hue. This is fixable with a WM9/TC dial and swapping the hour markers etc. Not an easy feat since find those dials is tough.
The more I see the iPhone 6 the less like I feel I need to upgrade… My 5s is working fine and IMO looks much nicer… I guess we'll see what those specs mean in real world use.
