  1. Because there are 1000 shades of blue. And they don't have a gen. But even blind man would make closer blue as on the BP and this one.
  2. Timegrapher doesn't tell you everything. All my watches had good timegrapher results, but the watches still have one or more problem. AFAIK Noob uses new movements, but I don't have a Noob watch yet, so can't say for sure. But they should be better than BP.
  3. Dial looks good to me, maybe they got better now. Apart from the color of course, you have a complete fantasy watch.
  4. Here are my reviews/pictures of Captain's: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/160189-anyone-interested-in-getting-an-aqua-terra-repped/page-6#entry1280126 http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/160189-anyone-interested-in-getting-an-aqua-terra-repped/page-7#entry1280528 http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/160189-anyone-interested-in-getting-an-aqua-terra-repped/page-7#entry1280737 http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/160189-anyone-interested-in-getting-an-aqua-terra-repped/page-8#entry1285994 I must add, that just after 2 months, the power reserve dropped from 40 to 37 hours. Still not a big deal, and the watch still works. Altough not a perfect rep, you must ask yourself, what more do you get with a gen watch. Gerlach Batory is quite similar to Captain's, is also 300€, has white dial and blue hands, but I can also find a lot of flaws: -scratches on polished surfaces, like case side and crown -a lot of dust under the glass -very loud rotor on ST25 movement And when I decided to remove the rotor and clean the glass I also noticed fingerprints on the rotor. Also the latest acquisition, the 800€ Seiko Brightz SDGC027, has some minor flaws. The dial is even more complicated, there are a lot more grooves on it, so as expected, there are two minor flaws on it, nothing I couldn't live with, but still. So the AT isn't that bad, I can't see more than 3 flaws on the dial, if I don't look very close or with a loupe. To conclude, you don't get much more with gens, and finding a perfect watch can be a painful process. And if you know how to change the movement in case of problems, or if you know a good watchmaker, I would still recommend the AT. You get a lot of watch for just 300€. For example, you need to go into 800€+ range to get the same quality gen watch, for example my Seiko. Case, bracelet and dial (minus some minor flaws) can easily compare. The biggest difference remains the better movement in a gen. And the AR is amazing on Seiko. I see KingBach also had problems with AT movement.
  5. @nshahzad: Have you looked at the dial closely? I wonder if yours too has some flaws, like the small dents in the grooves, or black spots? Altough I have a gen 800€ Seiko, and it still isn't perfect dial wise. It has one speck on the dial, and one flaw which I first thought was also a speck. But from normal distance it is ok, and same goes for my Aqua Terra rep. And what is more about Seiko, the bracelet squeaks more than the AT rep, I guess you have to baby oil all watches up to 1000€. Of course reps aren't for me, but I still believe I can get a perfectly good gen watch for 300-500€. What I also noticed on my AT, the power reserve dropped from 40 to 37 hours after only 2 months. I still wonder where do they get so many of these movements. They all look the same, just look at the markings at the fine regulation screw, these aren't very typicall for ETA (at least not the ones made now), yet, all "Swiss" BP watches have them.
  6. They didn't have the blue gen, they only had the gen Captain's. But still, even from internet pictures, they could do a lot better.
  7. I was the one buying the Captain's, and have since decided to just save up for the gen. You have to expect that the movement is very bad. I noticed on mine around 1 week ago that the power reserve went from 40 to 36 hours. It goes some more if you shake it again. That is the exact same problem one of my cheap DG2813's had. Too bad I don't know how to change the movement, because watch itself can easily compare to my recent purchase, the $1050 Seiko SDGC027. But for now it still works just fine, 36 hour reserve is good enough, altough my Seiko has an enormous 58 hour.
  8. Noob - both Asian and Swiss are good, and Swiss movements are new BP - both have some flaws, they use subpar movements You can look at gen watches to get an answer to your question. Sea-Gull ST2130 is no worse than ETA 2824-2, both of my Sea-Gull watches are extremely accurate. So if Noob uses ST2130, you won't have any problems. But I don't know for sure, they have some perlage on movement holder, but hard to say until someone opens up the LMLE.
  9. They really made a smurf blue. Video and QC pictures on PC site now prove that.
  10. Perfect Clones and Trusty are known for these off-color pictures. Another example where the one in the video is completely different: http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_114&products_id=11372 But I don't think they had a gen for it, so the color is probably not 1:1, but it must be better than on these pictures.
  11. I have a question regarding gen orange bezel. Is it really more orange than rep? My Silix $35 one and BP V5 both have more of a brownish tone. Also the dial is brown instead of black. I am wearing the BP orange for a week now, and it doesn't do anything for me. I enjoy wearing Aqua Terrra and blue Sub way more. And I like the gen 8500 orange more, it has more orange and less silver. But still it is only aluminium, so if I would buy a gen, it would be black ceramic.
  12. QC pics are terrible, bezel aligned one notch to the right and second hand obstructing number 12. But I can see DW, Omega logo and 12 are not aligned at all. No rep is perfect, but this one is worse than average.
  13. I was wearing the Captain's white and blue today. Altough I noticed quite a few flaws when I got the watch: 1. Movement has a loose rattling rotor. I tried to screw it more, but the problem is still here. 2. Turning the crown when setting time is rough. The movement has problems that are not found even on cheapest movements like the DG2813 and ST6. In the future, I will try to avoid "Swiss" movements from BP factory. 3. There are some tiny dents in the grooves of the dial, probably from machining. There are 11 altogether on mine, also two black spots, altough only 3 dents and 1 black spot are visible from normal distance. So the dial is not as clean as it could be. And what is even more sad, even the Silix $35 one has a clean dial. 4. There is no AR whatsoever, like on CrPO 45mm. 5. Clasp is somewhat angled at the joints. When clasp is opened and I put both sides of bracelet together, they are about 1mm apart. But when the clasp is closed, they come together just fine. So no big deal here. 6. Date wheel font is not bold enough, but it is bolder on 1-9 like on gen. 7. Caseback is badly scratched from jaxa wrench, new one is already on the way from China. Also there were two specks of dust on my caseback glass, one quite large, probably skin. Cleaned that already. 8. ADJUSTE DTO FIYE misspelling if you remove the caseback, or if you look at an extreme angle. 9. Crown was very dirty in the notches, had to use rodico to clean it. None was actually noticable when on the wrist. Movement doesn't rattle when you don't intentially shake the watch, and it is only +0,8s after 10 hours. Altough it is too bad they don't offer better (new) movements. This one probably just needs a minor service. But what I must say, the watch feels very genlike on the wrist. So much that it made me want to buy a gen in a 1-2 year time. I think the bracelet is at least 90% of the gen. It is incredibly comfortable, probably the most comfortable bracelet, yes, even the Rolex GlideLock can't compare. There is some minor problem with the clasp, as I said above, but when closed and on the wrist you don't notice that flaw. Then the dial, I must say again it is at least 80% of the gen. There are some minor QC problems, as said above, but they are not noticable from normal distance. What makes this watch are the hands and the markers. Blue hands are really nice under light, they go from dark blue to a really nice light blue color. And I noticed a green and a purple hue in the markers, really nice. I still don't know which one I would choose for a gen, Captain's or Skyfall. I will probably buy the Skyfall rep in the meantime. I must say again, this really is one of the most beautiful and comfortable watches.
  14. Apart from lume, this one is actually great, everything seems to be aligned just perfect. I don't think a second one (or a third one) will be this good.
  15. Yet some more rose gold. When will the blue one finally come out. http://www.p-cls.com/omat41121-aqua-terra-auto-ssrg-white-swiss-2836-p-15033.html http://www.p-cls.com/omat41122-aqua-terra-auto-ssrg-black-swiss-2836-p-15034.html http://www.p-cls.com/omat41123-aqua-terra-auto-ssrg-brown-swiss-2836-p-15035.html GMT, now that is more interesting: http://www.p-cls.com/0142b-p-15038.html
  16. Blue one is just painted with blue color over black ceramic bezel, don't buy that one, because what they did is just plain stupid.
  17. My Asian ETA from BP also stops if I try to unhack it. I then just shake it and it goes again. So it is true that a lot of replica movements alrady come with a need for service.
  18. This is getting boring now, 3 new models, rose gold again, but two tone this time: http://www.p-cls.com/omat41131-aqua-terra-auto-ssrg-white-swiss-2836-p-15030.html http://www.p-cls.com/omat41132-aqua-terra-auto-ssrg-black-swiss-2836-p-15031.html http://www.p-cls.com/omat41133-aqua-terra-auto-ssrg-brown-swiss-2836-p-15032.html
  19. My Swiss movement with 8500 decoration from BP factory, altough in Aqua Terra, but they are the same as in PO, has 2836-2 too. This doesn't mean it is a clone. 2836-2 is just a day-date version of 2824-2, and it can also be used in watches with just date function. You have to know you are not the only one with this problem. Some examples (don't know if you are registered else, that's why quotes): http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/159225-swiss-eta-2836-or-a2836/?p=1232978 http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/163554-omega-po-ti/?p=1275180 http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/146298-asian-eta-2836-2-vs-swiss-eta-2836-2/?p=1105331 http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/161542-omega-seamaster-300m-ceramic-black-a-review-finally/page-7#entry1271182 http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=208131&page=2&p=2325527&viewfull=1#post2325527 http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/omega-seamaster-pro-150166.html?p=1492945#post1492945 http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/new-1-1-132072.html?p=1413269#post1413269 http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/new-116110ln-from-128483.html?p=1259306#post1259306 This is actually my watch: http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/new-1-1-132072.html?p=1645541#post1645541 But in the future, I would rather take an Asian movement, it is better, new, and it costs less, this watch is $308 (I haven't found it on Trusty's). http://www.p-cls.com/omcpo45154-pocean-ceramic-blue-titi-asian-clone-2836-p-14732.html Altough Asian can have problems too, the one in my BP factory Submariner doesn't want to unhack sometimes and the winding isn't smooth. So I just don't trust BP factory no more, my next watch will probably be from Noob factory, they only use new movements, be it Asian or Swiss. http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=10452&st=20&p=252520&#entry252520 Only looking at the price difference, should give you an idea of different quality. All prices are for PO's, BP has different ceramic models, and Noob only has the LMLE for now. BP Asian - $268 for 42mm ceramic, $278 for 45mm ceramic, $308 for 45mm blue Ti Noob Asian - $298 BP Swiss - $328 for 42mm ceramic, $368 for 42mm blue Ti, $338 for 45mm ceramic, $368 for 45mm blue Ti Noob Swiss - $448
  20. Actually, at least 8 of my watches do this, altough most of them are Omega reps/homages, and one cheap Rolex rep.
  21. Not being new is typicall for BP factory. But for this price you can't expect nothing more, altough new Asian clone would be a lot better. Noob has new Swiss movements, and the watch is $450. Actually, I have seen that regulator, on my Aqua Terra from BP factory. I also found it here today: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/163956-first-rep-crpo-from-silix/?p=1279182
  22. If he would be a nice guy, he would have sent the bezel with the watch right away. He knew very good that the pearl is bad, and yet he tried to sell you the watch anyway. Not that I have anything against him, from my experience, every TD is the same, of course they won't list you all the flaws and photograph them, that wouldn't get them anywhere. I just try to accept the flaws in a rep watch, every one of mine has 8-10 flaws, some bigger than others. But my main concern is always the movement, and I don't have great experience with movements from BP factory, may it be Asian or Swiss. I can tell you that I did get the new caseback from Josh from Perfect Clones. Bezel is also probably not such a problem, but anything more, and I think you have to pay yourself.
  23. Logo and 12 seem to be aligned, nice. You could make a picture of the watch at the right angle and more closer. But this picture is enough to see that from normal distance when watch is on the wrist, it looks very nice. I might just get this watch sometime.
  24. How is the movement in yours, jomega? What I particularly want you to check: 1. Is the winding smooth? 2. Pull the crown in the last, time setting position. Now turn the crown for some time. Do you notice any roughness, or is the turning smooth? 3. Does the rotor rattle when you shake the watch up and down?
  25. 2 more rose gold models: http://www.p-cls.com/omat41103l-aqua-terra-auto-ssle-whiterg-swiss-2836-p-15025.html http://www.p-cls.com/omat41103-aqua-terra-auto-ssss-whiterg-swiss-2836-p-15026.html
