I would check out EuroTimes MBW. You will want it in the long run, so you may as well get it first.

I agree. I am very happy with the MBW white letter dial. One day a nice vintage lume, or maybe not. I have had it a long while and have not done this yet, so it seems happy to stay as it is. Favorite rep in my collection it is.

I will take the dial you have pictured for $300 please. That would be $240 profit for you. Not bad. I have seen much worse go for much higher. The bay is full of Chit these days. Scam city and the honest sellers are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too expensive as collectors are on a buying spree. I need to get in contact with Ubi's parts fairy. I think the prices have something to do with it. We are not buying $125 reps anymore. I am happy about that as the new reps are great great great. I don't expect $3000 quality for less than $500, but I do expect the quality to be equal to the money I spend, and I do expect some recourse when problems arise other than to be told it's my problem because I bought a fake. I have come to appreciate EuroTimez approach and Chris will get my next order. I wont abandon the others, but IMO if Chris is going to shoot straight with me, then I am going to give him a shot. I have never read where any other dealer openly tell us what to look for so we don't get scammed. Lies are lies no matter how small or what color they are. I just want to know what I am told is what I will receive.

Because it's Asian. It's a crap shoot. Some are great, some not. Post a WTB or email a dealer. They are not too expensive for one like that.

The ETA 6497 is a bulletproof movement. How old is your rep? Does your watch stop at the same place. Maybe it's something else or maybe it is Asian movement. Got a good picture of it?

6497-1 is what you need.

Got a close up of the dial? in that side shot it looks to be kinda green.
