Great news! I was beginning to lose hope..

too be honest miss king is reputable dealer on multiple forums I want to believe she wont deceive and defile her name for a couple of sapphire crystals. I have dealed with her in the past and she has on a few occasions got me parts that most dealers will not or cant not source for me and sometimes free of charge for being her customer. I cant vouch for Prdubis but miss king if she can get it she'll tell it to you straight but lets just see how this plays out. Lets just hope for the best my friends

hmmm... I need to get in contact with her about this group buy!!! Offshore and I have a couple leads.. but if this crystal is already being produced in sapphire we can avoid all of this custom cutting and fabrication and possibly get these crystals directly from the source.. can you pm me about price paid, quality, look etc?

Picture 1 shows a watch I've asked my dealer to mod: sapphyre crystal, swiss7750, V3 PAM212 dial, correct rotor and caseback...

Picture 2 shows a V3 PAM212.

Just to say you can find real sapphyre on PAM212/253 but crystal is expensive...

so the sapphire does exist, so for the sake of this thread and im just putting it out there but could your dealer possibly get enough crystals for everyone on the list

I hope not, when I ordered it didn't say they were out of stock. I do have received an airmail freight number, so I think it will be ok.

So the one I have ordered has synthetic sapphire glass. Will this update of real sapphire glass look much better? I have no idea what to expect, it's also my first rep.

That is interesting all the dealers tell me the factory is not making them maybe there finally in stock please post pictures so we all can help you determine if in fact you did receive an ultimate.

The sapphire isnt for looks but for functionality, synthetic sapphire or mineral glass can be scratched and rather easily but sapphire on the other hand is NEARLY unscratchable. Thats why most of 212/253 owners are just so afraid to wear this beautiful watch.

I ordered the new 212 Ultimate from Andrew, but it's not there yet. What will this do for my 212? I have no idea, because I haven't seen it yet.

I thought the ultimate's where out of stock?

does anyone know if the crystal dimension is all the same in the v1-v3?

So if v2 doesn't have sapphire, then they are getting an extra $80 for the low end 212...

because I can't see anything more to justify the price...

toro exact words are youre getting a "crappier" version hahaah

you also have to understand this "v2 or v3" whatever it is, its coming from a different factory. The ultimate version comes form the same factory as the hublot so you can expect quality. I am not sure where these newer ones are from but if one of the dealer says your getting less of a watch for a higher price ill take his word for it. Toro a stand up dealer and he'll tell you like it is unlike someone *cartel* that just wants to make an extra buck from us.

usually if it doesn't explicitly say 28.8, it's 21.6

I got clarification from toro and hont that the new 212/253 are indeed 21.6 movements and also not sapphire. Well toro only confirmed the 21.6 not the sapphire but hont confirmed both.

Right now I am looking for 2 models IWC top gun and PAM 253 , thanks to this forum I find out that PAM 253s have mineral glasses instead of sapphires ( most of the dealers claim that their PAM253s have sapphires ).I found a dealer who has PAM253 in his website but I am not sure if he gave the correct description , but price is very high :

From what i know the 253 from the better factory "ultimate" is discontinue or out of stock. the current one or "updated" is from another factory that has a 21600 movement, regulator, and correct rotor. I am not sure the dimension of the old crystal will fit the newer one either unless someone wants to clarify.

I was in the market for a seadweller but now i realize they are very noticeable flaws about it and now decided to go a sub. I have come to a decision of either Rivers Sub (tw made) or Josh sub (CN made?). It would be great to get input from owners of either or both watches to help me in making my decision.

Hi guys im about to fork out a good amount of money for a full gold tw sub (blue dial) from EL and wanted to get some input from anyone that has already purchase one from eddie.
