Bump for a fellow franken builder....
The Zigmeister is telling me that the Gen Dial and Gen Bezel won't fit Ruby's case....anyone have any ideas????
-
I agree with longshot, the gen is one cool watch (46mm)!
-
They pop up on the bay now and again, you just have to keep your eyes open and be patient...it took me about 3 weeks to find one.

Incredible looking watch. I did have one question.
Your Franken has a gen dial, but when I compare it to this gen dial I do see a difference
Most noteably the 8. On the gen pictured above it shows the 8 is full, however on your gen dial the 8 is cut into by the 9 o'clock sub dial.
When I paid a HUGE dollar for my "gen new stock parts from an AD" from a certain member here on RWG, my dial showed up with a full 8. Concerned, I asked, and was told that this was the new 07 version. Further research has shown that the full "8" is actually from the 04-05 model years.

Hi Guys,
I need your help. As I have had no luck in the sale/wanted section, does anyone know where I can source a single link for a TT Navitimer bracelet?

very impressive!

231 All the way! I just ordered one from TTK.

Bump! Wondering if someone can chime in and let me know who carries this version? All the asian models I have found have the off-white colour dial....
Thanks in advance.
As a follow up, KING has this version currently.
-
For me, UPO for sure- but I find anything under ~43mm to feel 'small'.

I would LOVE to see a proper Breitling Flying B. This watch is different enough that I think it would draw serious interest if repped properly.
-
Welcome fellow canuck! I have also never had any problems with packages coming from the far east...
-
Look forward to it! Which did you order- regular, or extra icey?

The photo's look unreal! Anyone have a wrist shot? I want to see how the "diamonds" and the watch as a whole looks in normal lighting.

Andreas,
I agree, sometimes it is difficult to spot the difference in some of the pics posted. I have owned the rep, and have seen many gens. The white rehault ring that overlays the dial of the watch (between the dial and the crystal) is about 2mm-3mm too wide on the rep. As there are many of these reps around where I live, I find it to be a very 'easy to spot' flaw on the watch (besides the lack of strong a/r).
V is right, this is a very beautiful 'macho' watch; however, the rehaut problem led me to sell mine. We don't wear our reps to claim they are gens, but what's the fun if there's no mystery...

My 6.75 with the maroon numbers looks just fine to me
Have you compared it to the gen? There is a very distinct visual difference. It breaks my heart, because otherwise it's a great rep.

The white rehault portion of the dial is a horribly easy tell. They can never seem to get it right

Fabulous work, The Zigmeister.

Thanks for all the replies, guys. I'm still searching for the elusive wrist shot, I'd like to see one of these beauts in context. While I understand most of the opinions voiced, IMHO anyone who can pull off a Breitling Super Avenger, can pull off a full gold rollie /oh, and I am a rockingangstadealer

Why don't you get the pockets lengthened?
