My wife wanted quartz, but I failed to find the one with the three criteria I mentioned above. She definitely needs second hands as her job requires it.

I tried to search for quartz version that met below criteria but have failed. 1) second hands 2) only SS. No gold color 3) mid or smaller ladies size I plan to order a watch winder if I get the watch. Thank you for your comment!

Thanks for your help. How is the build quality? Do you recommend it? Also, what would be the difference btn what puretime has for $498 and toros for $378? 42mm would be too big for my wife and she must have a seconds hand which narrows down choices toward more expensive ones.

Hello. Thanks to knowledgeable members here, I have successfully purchsed my first two rep watches from Toros. (Breitling SF, and SMP ceramic) I am now hunting for another watch (for my wife), and I thought I'd ask here before I make the purchase. I am looking for Ballon Bleu 36mm SS with seconds hand. I contated Andrew but he said he is out of automatic ones, and recommended quartz. I looked at Puretime and they had some nice ones but the price was expensive $498. I am leaning toward the one from Puretime, but I was wondering if any member here have purchased it. Hello! I just received mine today from Toros. Awesome quality I must say. I have a question though, I noticed how my bezel and the insert are not aligned. Pearl is not below one of the pointy ends of the bezel. I tried to turn the insert within the bezel but no luck. If anyone knows how to fix this, please help

Thank you for alerting me about the bracelet problem. I actually thought the older version looked pretty cool and almost went for it. Now I changed watch to the ceramic bezel seamaster. I hope it works out this time

Thank you everyone for your inputs. I suspected this qc to be an older model, and now I see the faulty Omega symbol and text. Thank you for pointing those out Danza1812. To think that I almost approved this, I guess even the TDs make mistakes. I am yet to hear from toro, and I'm still waiting for that steelfish qc from him as well. So far he has been very prompt in exchanging messages. I hope to hear from him soon

Hello. I ordered a seamaster chrono from toro and received QC pics. I was about to aprove it but then I noticed something in the QC that was different from pictures on his website. QC had lumes at 12 and 6, when the website picture didn't. Im wondering which version is the better version? Top picture is QC. Bottom picture is from toro website. Can someone please tell me which one is the updated version, and close to genuine? I appreciate it in advance.

Thank you very much everyone for your advices. I did turn down another one for having visible white marks on hands. I am waiting for another QC hopefully last one. I will keep in mid that these are reps and flaws are to be found. B3nj4min3 thanks for sharing info on the "s" I was referring to.

Hello, members of the firendliest watch forum on planet! I am a newbie in the world of reps, although I do have a few gens (longines master c, tag grand carrera rs6 and few casios). I just made my first purchase from toro (sosf and Ult po), and he sent me QC pics for the Sosf. I turned this down and asked for another watch because I thought the date was slightly to left. I'm not quite sure if I am being too picky or if this is a normal process. I have been reading a lot of posts here and made my decision to request for a different watch, but direct advices from experienced members will be appreciated. Here goes the pics I turned down. Also, what is the "correct S on dial" mean? I saw members talk about the correct s a few times but never figured out what they are referring to. Thanks in advance!
