  1. Second the welcome and cornerstone, your signature is hilarious!
  2. Welcome and sounds kind of like the same boat I was in only a few weeks ago!
  3. RWG, I have tried searching not only this site, but the general internets (The Google) with no luck in finding an answer. Maybe it's just me, anyways the question is why did Rolex eliminate the microchip looking thing or whatever it was? Just a random thought, although the watches without them look much better. Thanks,
  4. Welcome, I find this site so far very nice and helpful!
  5. Figured out how to add my extremely modest, but all current Gen collection. Soon I will have my first quality rep(hopefully) from Joshua that I just ordered. Milgauss GV Asian ETA.
  6. Different strokes for different folks! Spending around 300 on a watch you know you like and having serviced for around 80 works for me. But that not be the case with what I have...just trying to get an estimate in my head.
  7. Hey guys just wondering what the range is on cost for some of these movements. In specific I am about to order an asia 2836... Just wondering and I did try searching.. I know that vac and MD2020 both service a lot of watches in the forums. Cheers!
  8. Go to the links section, and look at dealers there. Oh and welcome!
  9. Welcome as I am new as well, and I too, love both brands you mentioned, along with Breitling.
  10. Thanks guys for comments and welcomes. As to what first I think maybe a Milgaus GV, although I know the second markers on dial is a dead giveaway...I just like the watch. Second one would be a PAM 104...and I do have a soft spot in my heart for a Submariner as well. I do like the ceramic bezels, so a newer model would be my pick. I tried to attach some pics of the current watches, but I am not the best when it comes to technology and forums!
  11. Hello all, I am new to the site(although the other day I posted a question in the Movement Q&A section. I am relatively new the replica world. About 6 years ago I bought a very cheap Submariner replica which lasted all of 3 months which tarnished and movement stopped working. After that I thought I would never consider a rep again. After saving for a bit I ended up getting a gen Tag Carrera twin time on black leather with deployment used. I sold that on ebay and profited $200 and ended up buying a gen Breitling Wings white with stainless pilot band. I will probably never get rid of that watch as it was the watch/gift I/Wife got when my first daughter was born. Although I love my Breitling, and have a few other cheap watches(Invicta Speedway? Gold & SS quartz, a Stainless Seiko 5 Automatic, and some type of Oakley watch(quartz) that my father bought me. I am itching for a watch and next year I more than likely would have enough for the gen purchase I want some Panarai, Rolex, or Breitling more than likely not that it narrows it down as I change my mind a lot, which is the reason why I am contemplating a rep again, especially of much better quality. Well that's it for now.
  12. Hello everyone I am interested in purchasing a Milgauss from one of the Trusted Dealers (Joshua or Andrew) not sure which yet as I am in US don't know if one or other is better for me and watch. My question is I see everyone recommending asian 2836 movement over swiss due to significant increase in cost, but what about the cheapest 2813 movement? Is it really worth it to at least get the a2836? Or even the swiss 2836? TIA
