  1. Hi guys, I have a LV Euromariner with wrong hands (the narrow ones), I need a set of proper maxi hands (or maybe only the seconds hand). I need a couple (better two couples) of 503 b endlinks (or 585) too. Aanybody wants to sell me this stuff?
  2. Thanks for your reply, guys, and I'm sorry for having been so rude. I've been a VERY happy customer in the past, and I still wish the best for ETZ. What I meant was that you didn't give me any support with this bad transaction, and I don't want to take any further risk with customs sending the stuff back and forth. If you don't feel fair sending me what I paid for and didn't receive, it's OK for me, the loss is not that worth, apart that I have to find those endlinks and proper LV bezel and hands and installing it. Let's go on guys, all the best. Paolo
  3. Never, ever had problems with other dealers. If you want to post emails we exchange in the last few months, no problem, I'll post too, so everything will be clear. For me, that's simply the end of our business. BTW, if you check my previous messages about you, you'll see I was always positively biased and polite about ET. Then you began to send stange stuff...And everybody can see I'm not the only one that had problems. However, as I already told you, I'll keep my bad stuff, you'll go on with your fantastic QC and post sale service...
  4. I don't want to go on with this, but I received SOLID mid links bracelet with NO END LINKS. Period. Nothing more to say. Oh, I forgot: the movement in that horrible Euromariner was an ETA clone, even if I paid for a gen ETA. Go on with your business, Chris, but there's something wrong, terribly wrong in your way to handle your "popularity".
  5. Guys, it seems very strange: I was the one who paid, I was [censored] off because I paid a quite good amount ($ 625) and received a LV Euromariner with narrow hands and a crappy pearl, two bracelets with solid mid links (when I asked hollow) without any end links, and you didn't even send me the additional two couples of end links I paid for, and now I should send you back the stuff, getting more loss/seizure customs risks? I think the least you can do is send me three couples of end links I paid for and didn't receive and a set of proper LV hands. I'll stick with the crappy pearl and the solid mid link bracelets, and I'll have to pay my watchmaker to change the hands.
  6. Well, the first thing to do is, IMHO, to fulfill all the orders badly processed. I'm waiting.
  7. ONORE AI NOSTRI CADUTI. SI APRANO PER LORO LE PORTE DEL PARADISO DEGLI EROI.
  8. I'm in, for sure. Any chance to remove the secs hand too?
  9. Contact BK, he is the "authorized" dealer on this and other forums for WM9 reps. If you want to see which models are available, go to www.watchmaker9.tv
  10. There's another, big, immediate tell on the SSD (which I have and love, however): the dial is missing the thicker markers at 5, 10, 15... on the outer ring. Compare with a gen (or even your ordinary Sub rep, that has the proper markers) and you'll see what I mean. Great watch you have, however!
  11. Guys, only want to share my experience with all of you. Browsing the web, I found this dealer (www.prowatch-polo.com). I noticed he had the usual pieces the "cartel" have, but also noticed that he had a rather unique 16610 Sub, with a movement that resembled like a waterdrop to the real 3135. So, out of curiosity, I contacted him, to know everything about the watch. Ok, to make a long story short, I decided not to buy the 16610, only because I have almost all sort of Subs/SSD (franken, BK WM9 v2, MBW, cartel, for models like 16610, 16600, 1680, 1665, 5513 and even 168000, of course franken), but found a good Exp II 16550 cream dial. It had some major flaws and you know what? He managed to solve the most part of them! He found a case with lug holes (the cartel sells it with a modern case without lugholes, absolutely incorrect), put on a non SEL bracelet (the cartel sells it with a SEL bracelet, absolutely incorrect) and with metal surroundings and metal hands, not black (correct for the watch). He couldn't solve the issue of the "rail dial" neither could have the dial with proper "Swiss - T < 25" (it has "Swiss made"), nor get a correct bezel, but these are flaws I can live with. The final product can be seen here: http://www.prowatch-polo.com/showpic.asp?ArticleID=405. In all this, his communications were prompt like I never found from any other dealer (apart Josh and Andrew) and, after my payment, the shipping was lightning fast! The watch came in four days. What else can I say? Fantastic! I hope he can become an authorized dealer here, I believe he deserves it. I will definitely buy more from him, that's for sure!
  12. 168000 to finish the "modern" collection; 5508 or (even better) 5510 if you're that wealthy
  13. WTF? ARE YOU JOKING?!? A 49-years-old man is someone who has a few years to spend??? GO ON SEARCHING FOR WATCHES, YOU LAZY YOUNG MAN, YOU HAVE PLENTY OF THEM TO BUY !!!!
  14. Well Steph, for once in my life, I disagree: I mean, you know I love Tudor Subs, some models even more than Rolex correspondant (especially the blue ones): 7928 or 7016 or 9411 or 94110 have nothing worse than, to say, 5508 or 5513 or 1680. The only model that's not up there is the 79090, that's fantastic of course (it's a Tudor Sub!), but those triangles, well, they wreck the whole design of the watch. Only my 2 cents, of course
  15. Go fot it Steph, you won't regret. I have a Black Themes, and it's getting a lot of wrist time. Virtually undistinguishable from the gen, believe me, I compared it. A true super rep right OTB, if ever there was one. No mod needed, apart from (maybe) reluming.
  16. + 1. It's our usual Black Themes !
  17. Ciao Albe, ti ho mandato un messaggio For non Italian speaking Hi Seal, you got a PM
  18. Agree with you Ubi, but that's why Freddy mentioned the general rule. Every rule has its exceptions , and we all know that, when it comes to Rolex, exceptions are the rules!
  19. Thanks Ubi, you're helpful as always. But my question is if there is a gen pearl without any metal surrounding. Even the acrylic pearls had surroundings, so I was wondering why the hell did MBW made those awful bezel insert without any surrounding. Maybe they know something I don't know ?
