  1. received this beauty today and won't take it off for a while :thumbsupsmileyanim:

    Im soo jealous lol

Im currently wearing my Tag Heuer Carrera racing on rubber,(check my pic above)

It looks like a very big watch though, much bigger than my carrera....you think i can pull it off?I blame my dad for my small wrists lol :whistling:

  2. Anyone who orderd the costeau divers recieve a conformation from there dealer that the watch is on its way?

Just curious to know when I can expect the first pics/reviews? Almost gave in for a Swiss, but a little voice in my mind convinced me to wait for member pics & reviews before blowing some of my sourly earned cash...

    Thanks,

    RR. ^_^

cant wait to see to see the early reviews & user pics!

  3. You know, I really struggled to decide too, but I just think that the extra is not worth it. I've gone for the Asian and will be shipping it straight off to The Zigmeister for a service and maybe luming depending on how it looks when I get it.

The Zigmeister seems confident (and who am I to argue!) that a well serviced Asian 7750 is a pretty reliable bit of kit so I'm going to go with that. Price wise, it'll still be cheaper to do that than go for the ETA, and I'll have some confidence that the movement has been well serviced and so hopefully fairly reliable for some time to come.

As always, it's a bit of a gamble, and I'm sure those that splash the cash on the ETA will be happy guys too - interesting to see how many are prepared to drop nearly $800 on a rep!! I'm sure there'll be plenty - I was very close!!

    Cheers

    Hilts :play_ball:

    Thanks Hilts,

I have decided to go for the Asian movement, thanks for helping make my mind up :thumbsupsmileyanim:

  4. Thanks Jawo for the review!

I love the style of this but im slightly concerned that it might be too large for my wrists!

Im currently wearing the Tag Carrera and that feels big lol

Guess i need to get used to bigger watches

  5. This watch caught my eye when i was shopping,

I thought it was going to look massive at 44m, but the size looks good for my wrist.

Im concerned though, is there a 42mm version of the steelfish?Maybe the one i was looking at was not the 44mm one?

please let me know your thoughts,i want to order the rep soon!

well, everyone says if you have a Brietling you have to have a blue faced model to capture all of it's Brietlingness, but I got the white, and it is a very sophisticated and a very Very classy. It is loud, but the good kind of loud. I will probably get the black face one this month.
