I was reading the other thread and it seemed like the big expense for a gen case set with crystal and crown is the crystal. I was wondering if I could save money by not buying the gen crystal?

How do you order something like this? Sorry! I am a noob when it comes to Rolex watches. I would love an homage watch too.

I've had the watch for around 7-8 months now and I only wear it very sporadically. It used to keep very good time, but as I wore it today, I realized that it is running extremely quick. Probably over an hour over a 24 hour period. Is the movement completely broken? Can any adjustments be made? Are there any good rep-friendly watch makers in socal or who else should I send it to? Thanks!

I searched but I wasn't able to find a definitive answer. As you are winding the crown, does it roll back slightly? Some people said it was normal, other people said not. I don't have enough experience with this type of watch to know. Thanks for your responses.
