  3. thanks ceejay the movement is a valjoux 7733 . its the first variation of it dating it from 1969-71 as they changed the reset hammer in 1971
  4. i have this watch which i posted before . i thought of just getting rid of it as i have no idea about watches or there repair but i looked about for some information on the net and thought what the heck in for a penny in for a pound and gave it a go myself . i re-fitted the small seconds hand and stopped the hands obstructing each other (adjusted with a needle) . i managed to get the chrono working also and it is resetting to zero on both dials . i also replaced the crystal . i am glad i gave this a go as i did not no if i had a steady enough hand to finish what i started . but thankfully i tried and did not have any problems . here is my effort . merry christmas to all
  5. hi all i was given this watch for an 18th birthday present in 1986 its a sekonda and has quartz and ussr on the face just wondering if the numbers on the back mean anything thanks in advance robert
  6. hi my name is robert i am trying to find information. i have a dogma chronograph with a valjoux 7733 movement. it was made by Arthur Dorsaz & co La Chaud de Fonds CH. Company founded 1860 who also supplied germany with watches in ww2. in my dogma the movement is a valjoux 7733 which i think was made from 1969-1978 but there was a change made to it in 1971 . there were 3 different reset hammers this one seems to be the first version before the change was made in 1971 . i have found other dogma watches but only one similiar to mine with the 7733 inside and that had a light dial rather than a black one. looking for any information for the brand dogma or Arthur Dorsaz & co thanks in advance
  7. thanks very much peteM i will go down that road and see where it leads me cheers robert
  8. thanks peteM as i say i have found a citizen homer movement which looks the same and is stamped 1801 on the back plate here is a better picture of my one. i have found on the ranfft site which is stamped 1802 and it is a 1974 para shock version so i presume my one pre-dates that as it looks identical to the citizen homer . i no nothing about watches and i am just going by what i can find on goggle thanks again
  9. it says regency on the dial and the movement but looking at the ranfft site the movement is a citizen homer 1801 with date and also hand wound thanks robert yes it is

  12. hello my name is robert sorry to bother you but this is a long shot as i am struggling for info . i have a dogma chronograph with black panda dial . i have been searching the net with not much luck the only site i have found any real reference to it is on a site called sometimeagofinland but it has a different coloured dial and the back of that watch is different . looking about for dogmas in general i found out that they were made by Arthur Dorsaz & co La Chaud de Fonds CH. Company founded 1860 and supplied germany with watches in ww2 and still were in existence in 1966 but cant find any later references to the company and only one other watch i have found is a diver from 1968 . in my dogma the movement is a valjoux 7733 which i think was made from 1969-1978 but there was a change made to it in 1971 . there were 3 different reset hammers this one seems to be the first version before the change was made in 1971 . would this watch be classed as a rare watch as i cant find any photos or reference to this watch and if so would there be any value because of rarity if so how much is it worth search youtube for clip DOGMA VALJOUX 7733 REVERSE PANDA DIAL 69-71 CHRONOGRAPH thanks in advance regards robert
