  1. That is an absolute beauty but I am looking for the black dial version.
  2. May I see some pics of it please?
  3. This is what I was thinking at this point but I just looked on that forum and I do not have the VIP or Platinum status to post... If you know of anyone looking to sell a nice 6263, please let me know.
  4. Thank you very much for this sir. I have frequented VRF daily for many years to read their great posts and lust after the vintage Rolex. And I do see these parts come up for sale regularly (surprisingly). However, it does look like this would put me well over the $6k mark and I thought that was too much already for a rep. As Ghost suggests, I think my first step will be to post a WTB and see if a good standing member here may want to part with his 6263...the more gen parts the better! If anyone here knows of someone looking to sell, please send them my way. Thanks again! Tom
  5. Understood. However, I do own a genuine 16520 white dial W series that I've enjoyed for 10 years now. I was just dreaming of adding a black dial 6263 to pair with it and obviously cannot afford a genuine's high price tag.
  6. I sure do appreciate everyone's advice. I do not have the time or knowledge to assemble and source parts myself to put together one of these so maybe a JAW version might be for me. Does anyone actually own a 6263 from Phong (preferably black dial) that they would be willing to post pics of and share your opinion of your watch? Thanks again, Tom
  7. Hello, I am new to this great site! I've always loved the 6263 Big Red Daytona and, since I don't have $35-40k burning a hole in my pocket, I've decided to go with a nice replica. I came upon Jewelry & Watch and Mr. Phong. His products look amazing but this particular model comes with a $6k price tag...pretty high I think for a replica. I believe he said the only thing genuine Rolex will be the balance wheel - everything else is aftermarket. Does anyone have recent experience with Phong and is $6k the going asking price for a good quality replica 6263? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Tom
