  1. Ouch, you confirm my doubts guys. Guess I'll have to wait until there's a better rubber bezel available. Cheers! Pedro
  2. Wow. nice collection indeed! Which one is the pam to the right of the one (090?) with the brown strap in the first and second pic? Looks very cool!
  3. Oh! Didn't know you were able to buy a spare buckle just like that? Thought you had to show them your watch, like with hublots. 16mm sounds very small. My guess too is that OEM would be 18mm, but I'll have to double check that Cheers! Pedro
  4. I'm not so sure about the being-able-to-tell-from-a-mile part. At least mine's been handled by watch professionals who didn't have a clue. I actually think the ROO@12 is more accurate than the HBB, which has a lot of tells (just flip it over, for instance!). Pretty much the only AP flaw would be the date (position of the window, size of the mag, and color of the wheel), but it's still very good, and you'd have to know the original very well to suspect something fishy. My two cents Cheers! Johnny
  5. Um, sounds very expensive! What look are you trying to attain? Sounds like you simply want an Ice bang with brushed ceramic bezel, or am I missing something? Cheers! Johnny
  6. Hey all! The clasp on my new ROO strap hurts my wrist, so I'd much rather just have a "regular" buckle. Does anyone know where to find one? Cheers! pedro
  7. Classic! It's a lottery to return stuff - sometimes you get something better back, sometimes something even worse... Anyway, hope it'll work for you this time. Cheers! Pedro
  8. I too ended up falling for the more "stealth" look of the brushed bezel! If anyone knows how to come by one, please let me know aswell! Seems none of the dealers are able to supply it. The PVD bezel (which I've gotten instead) looks visually ok, but it's easy scratchable :/ Cheers! pedro
  9. You're definately right about this. I call bs on the whole "OEM" thing.
  10. Wow, that's very kind of you! PM sent Cheers! Pedro
  11. Wow, really nice - wear it well! Cheers! Pedro
  12. Thanks for posting pics niko! The BBK is about as much "in your face" as a watch will ever get Cheers! pedro
  13. Nice piece! What movement is this? It's got an engraved rotor + regulator + nice looking rotor bearing!
  14. Cool! Looking forward to it!
  15. Oh yeah, I see it now. Strange - I didn't even notice it before Thanks for pointing it out!
  16. Talking about good VC dials - I have the older version of the Overseas, and it's just eerily close to the gen. One of the first true super reps - just check out the details of the back engraving! Here it is: The gen counterpart: The back: The bracelet, clasp and everything else is also spot-on. Too bad it doesn't get any wrist time. Might actually be willing to part with it if anyone is interested - just drop me a pm! Cheers! pedro
  17. How about the XX? It looks very close to the original, especially the non-date one... My only concern is the rotatable bezel - these are often loose and sloppy on reps, which is a huge tell, and takes down the whole feel of the watch a lot. Anyone tried this piece out? Cheers! pedro
  18. How do one go about fixing the "popped" screws on the bezel? I've seen it on several HBB's... Cheers!
  19. I agree to - it's mostly likely a planted rumor to add to the "myth" of the first run hbb's Edit: Nevertheless, the quality of these bezels are impeccable, so it doesn't really matter. $1000 for a "OEM" bezel wouldn't surprise me at all - pretty nice margins for Hublot, one would assume!
  20. Very nice find! If I'm not mistaken, the GMT at nine qould require some movement modding though
  21. Wow! You seem to know your stuff Though I have a hard time seeing the rep makers shell out 150 bucks per watch just for coating? Cheers, Pedro
  22. DAMN that is cool looking!
  23. No detectable hairlines, even under strong lightning? Seems then that the v2 ceramic bezel is actually not ceramic, but rather polished ... hm?
  24. Woohoo! It worked - the movement was pretty "stuck", but I managed to move it a tiiiny bit. It never really seemed "moveable" though (it was fixed in its position even after having loosened the two plates), so pushed it and at the same time fastened the plates. I just found two plates/screws, perhaps I missed something? Anyway, attaching a pic, if anyone else wants to see where the plates are located: A really nice bonus that came with this fix was that I also aligned the T on HUBLOT and the last E on GENEVE (had to give it a go since the case was open!). I just pushed the letters carefully with a screwdriver, added some preassure on them, and voila, now they're fine Thanks once again for all your help! Cheers! Pedro
