I have a gen crown+tube+plexi for a 1675 gmt (1972) that i got back from service, everything is in very good condition that i can trade with!

i think gen inserts only bleach after 30 years of 'honest' use, i. e. take a long holiday with a lot of sun, salt-water and beer.

at least i never succeeded with several tries, not even with salt acid, only with 'mechanical' impact, but this you can easily see at the edges.

I already ordered the watch before finding this forum. After doing some much needed reading about reps etc, I wish I'd have just saved a little and bought one from a TD here.

The seller I ordered from has now pulled all his listings

I have found another seller (HERE) that seems to be using the same pictures but doesn't have the Black Submariner that i ordered but the green one looks the same. Although they could be using any picture!

He's provided me with a tracking number and it appears to be coming from Switzerland
