  1. Wow some of you really hate this guy eh? I'm impressed that he's able to spot reps and discern the differences in such great detail.
  2. As everyone has mentioned, check out KB's offerings. He has a website listing some of his offerings but not all: http://replicaplaza.net/ . If you find anything you like, send him a PM to do business; he will only accept WU at the moment. If you find something you like that is not on his site, show him, and he might be able to get it for you.
  3. Hey there, although not as in depth as you are probably interested in, here is a brief overvif the rep process courtesy of PureTime. Scroll down to "How the average Maker (or Factory) works:" http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/149260-puretimes-mechanics-within-the-replica-watch-industry-v11-updated/
  4. Damn, how's a noob like me supposed to pick out the brand, the watch is tiny!
  5. Ill admit, most of the watches I've seen on here and are beautiful. Some styles aren't to my liking, but I really enjoy the look of the Seamaster, the Sea Dweller and above all else, the Submariner. I really want to make a purchase, I should probably stick to $250 max for the beginning (which seems like I might be getting a subpar movement), but haven't set my mind yet, but I might have to go for the Seamaster, because I can't pull of a Rolex, and Omega is probably less well known (just my opinion; I had never heard of them before RWG). I guess I just have to ask myself If I want a watch that will tell time forever, or a watch that looks damn awesome. I am going into professional school, so its only a matter of time before I would be able to sport a Rolex though.
  6. I certainly cannot afford a Gen, and I question whether I ever will. I've been looking into getting a rep for myself a s a "gift" for graduating university. Might I ask what you mean by pull it off? I am 22, do you perhaps mean I am not established enough to sport a "high-end" watch? I died a little inside when you said they do not have great quality and "die" often When I think about getting a rep, my hope is that I can get a product better than an alternative gen product of the same price. I mean, it seems like a lot of effort and careful work goes into reps, surely there must some quality present. I do love to fix [censored] though.
  7. What is the goal of a rep? To resemble the gen at all costs? To look similar to the gen and but to also have good quality? I'm wondering if a rep is right for me, since I am interested in quality item that also happens to be stylish, at an affordable price. I'm interested in seeing your thoughts on this, as well as your opinions on other reps (belt, suit, shoes, purses, etc.).
  8. I'm a university student in Waterloo, Ontario, and I'm concerned over the legality of purchasing one from say Trusty, or perhaps bk. Maybe customs seizes it, depending on the source CN vs USA, etc. It looks like bk has some pretty nice stuff, and excellent skills, that's for sure. I'm also curious to know if there are forums as intricate as this one dedicated to non-watch rep (e.g. Tie,cufflink, suit). I came across Replicaplaze, but there are no sizes, HQ pics or feedback. At the moment I'm just trying to feel out what I should be doing if I want a realistic, rep that keeps good time has the quality to last years to come. I had no idea watches had such a following, let alone reps.
  9. Hello everybody, I hail from Canada and I just found this site shortly after a documentary revealed I could buy reps online. I've had a look around and I see there is quite culture around watches- I had no idea. I hope to come to understand some more of this lingo, and maybe get myself a nice watch! Cheers.
  10. Welcome to the forums Marsellus :)
