Well, I thought I had everything figured out on this watch, but it has bigger problems. The GMT hand rarely moves now. And after 5 days on the winder, I grabbed it this morning the whole thing was two days slow. Other than the GMT hand, it seems to be keeping time this morning, since I put it on. I would guess that Andrew would take it back for an exchange, but that's kind of my last resort. With the 2836-2, am I better off trying to find a local watch service to take a look at it? The watch looks amazing, so I definitely don't want to give up on it. I've yet to even open up one of my watches, so tinkering with it is way over my head at this point. Any experienced advice would be welcomed with open arms! Thanks for reading. Paul C

I think I prefer the patina look. Mine (from Andrew) made it to Chicago yesterday, so hopefully I'll have it by tomorrow!

I look at it this way....... I have a GEN BCE and could probably afford another 1 or 2 moderately priced GENs before I started to become concerned about the spending. However, I now have 7 REPs, including a couple that would be way out of reach for me. I would NEVER have even considered buying that many GENs, so I don't for a minute feel like I'm taking potential revenue away from the manufacturers. However, if I'm looking to spend $5k - $10k on a GEN, I don't want to have to wring my hands over the deal, wondering if it's real or not. Somebody trying to eBay a rep as a gen, is 100% a thief. That will do nothing but create more attention on the rep world, which obviously isn't good for our hobby........

@AJ, Well, now you've done it! After following the threads on your Bronzo and seeing the photos of this amazing rep, I took the plunge and ordered one from Andrew last night. You should be getting a commission! ;-) Now for the anticipation of its arrival!!!!

I'm more of a Porter guy..... A local microbrewery near me makes an amazing Coffee Porter in small batches, a few times per year. Always anxiously awaiting the next release!

I found the answer! Date-wheel backward! Should have searched further before posting. :-( Hi All, I have this PO GMT, received from Andrew a couple of weeks ago. My only issue is that the GMT hand is 2hrs ahead and I cannot for the life of me figure out if there's a way to set it properly? It definitely does not work as a gen, with the two position pull out crown, where one would only adjust the hour hand. Is this something I have to live with on this rep or am I missing something. Being a noob, I'm not up to opening up the case and fiddling with it at this point. Is ZF the only factory producing the Bronzo currently? Toro shows that on his site, but Andrew does not list the factory? If there are more than one factory producing it, is there some consensus on preference? Thanks all! This site has provided an amazing learning experience!!! Paul

X2! I had to take one link out and it took some searching to find a screw that I could get to come out without damaging anything. Just go easy and take your time.
