  1. I am not getting why all these brands call with specific names movements that are just ETA with a different surface finiture...
  2. For the test purpose I don't see any difference between a wannabe copied design homage and a rep. Actually I find the so called homages much worse than the reps... But that's just me.
  3. I'm referring to the fact that you have 2 posts, so in my view you are new to this world, so it's a good thing if you read about the movements, expectations, the fact that PayPal dispute are "evil", that moderators can help you to solve problems with our trusted dealers, to understand what a trusted dealer is, what QC pics are etc etc. This is the reason I have that link in my signature, to help new guys to understand the very basic concepts and rules of this world and avoid problems later on
  4. That dial is amazing! Even better than the 15300 that appears more "dull" Thanks for sharing!
  5. They more or less have the same problem. Eventually you can use PayPal from here: http://www.trusty-watch.com/ BUT, before, it's important that you educate yourself a bit on this world, for example reading the link I have in my signature here below.
  6. About that Parnis: if I was you I'd have bought this one from Gerlach Poland Ehi... Wait a sec... I already have it
  7. Yeah! PS: sorry guys for the local language diversion
  8. Thanks After what Legend wrote (and he's 2 years younger than me) I was feeling sick. Don't know if he was joking or not, just made me feel like a poor bast_rd, with a good but underpaid work and struggling to find the money finish his house... Ah, and by the way, here in Italy we eat rabbits too (and horses, deers, frogs, snails, cheese with live worms -search for casu marzu-, cheese with mold -lovely gorgonzola!-, ... )
  9. Tnx Lugs to lugs it is 44+mm Strap size 18mm Bezel is 40mm Case comprehending CG is 42.5mm Movement is I think 19.8kBPH handwind with no hack second and no quick date set. And case is plated brass with plexy.
  10. Parto dall'ultima domanda: ovviamente NO.
  11. You did not offended me AT ALL I only thought that during last forum it problem the censor check went TFU:)
  12. Look here: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/175510-rwi-forum-im-banned/?p=1387516 Good night forum! Time to sleep
  13. Uhm... No, it's only half sleeping... But i'm sure I read someone sending the little troll to censureoff (self censure this time)... EDIT: Yes he was sgtguk ... He has the power, during quote his words get censored, but not in his post! )))
  14. ...or the auto censure hamster went to hibernation? I mean that thing that when some of us writes "[censored]" or "Ass" substitute it with "[censored]" ? I kind of like it Cheers!
  15. Naaa... Panerai is a too a niche sector... Generally speaking here the well known brands are Ferrari, Lamborghini (which is Italian too, even if now it's owned by Audi), Ducati, Moto Guzzi, Aprilia (when it comes to the mechanical objects); then furniture brands like Scavolini, SCIC, ErnestoMeda, Snaidero; then the big fashon brands like Gucci, Armani, Versace, Coveri, Cavalli etc etc... Consider that here the middle class (that difficultly can access to luxury brands like the ones upper) consider "trendy" to have English names brands, so we have completely Italian brands with names like "Sisley" or "Best Company" otc etc...
  16. Look into Gulag section of RWG cousin. Hbaxter user. He was trolling there too. Such a ass hat...
  17. Got the news right now... I associate to the condolences and try to suppress the little Adolf that screams in me every time I get to know about similar news
  18. Ask them if they are able to completely disassemble, clean (ask what they use to clean and to rinse: it should be a ultrasonic machine and they should use 2 different rinse fluids), reassemble and oil (ask which oils they use, if Moebius or what else). Take really care as normally these mall things are mainly there to change batteries, not often they know how to treat mechanical time pieces... I've seen here watches "cured" from similar places that were simply opened, sprayed with WD40 and closed. Obviously they stopped running the day after and required a real service to fix them.
  19. Gorgeous car. I so much love those cars from the seventies...
  20. Don't have any idea of what a wisenheimer is... I generally take care of my watches personally (doing a full service to my planer ocean right this afternoon) and I don't trust Asian guys when it comes to repair. 1stly In my view if a movement has not been serviced (cleaned and oiled) it isn't fixed, even if the specific problem looks solved, especially for rep watches that never undergone to a service treatment. And I don't believe those guys do that. 2ndly after 2 years there is no thing like "guarantee" so you will end up paying good money to send the watch, taking the risk it get lost or taken from customs, and pay them for a service that I don't know how professional it is 3rd do you really believe that is Swiss movement? 2 years ago a swiss 7750 was around 450$ minimum. Now much more. How much you said you paid that rep? If it was 700+$ I may start to believe it is a real Swiss one, otherwise... This is the long version of that sentence.
  21. LOL, this is one of the worst idea I've ever heard about a rep
  22. Lovely! The car frame has nothing to share with the commercial one looks like... It seems that the only thing that make you possible to say that you race with an AM is the engine and some other details, isn't so?
