  1. So should I say to my T.Rex (my Suzuki TL 1000 black like the hell with 85kkm) that she's not enough to make me a biker?
  2. Yep It comes from a book I read when I was 16yo, Imajica from Clive Barker The supermarket check out lady may have had a manager husband, or a good lover (and in the meantime she has been incredibly good in horizontal gym ). Or maybe it was a fake: with the latest rep you can catch a rep just having a lens and a side by side check...
  3. Yeah, not counting that going around with a 500k$ watch not sitting on a Rolls, Ferrari or similar would pretty clearly speak about the watch too It's a sin, as I'd like to have a "toy skull watch". But the BR Airborne rep is too bad, the RM is bad too and doesn't fit with my life style, This Perrelet is very nice, but not repped: The Daniel Strom "Memento Mori, Carpe Diem " would be good for some Grind metal music lover, but not for me: This is lovable, but again not repper (Romain Jerome – The Death Watch): And the same for the Hublot Skull Bang and the Takashi Murakami x Hajime Asaoka "Death Takes No Bribe” Tourbillon:
  4. Not a lot of choices, taking away the old models that are probably not produced anymore, the list restricts to these ones, in my view: GMT II (three different models, I own the 1st one and I like it a lot): http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_5&products_id=11573 http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_5&products_id=9959 http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_235&products_id=9765 Sea Dweller: http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_8&products_id=11289 Submariner: http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_235&products_id=10671 Explorer: http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_4&products_id=11700 Compare them with the gen here: http://www.discoverprohunter.com/collection/
  5. Now the old domain is still active: http://www.puretime-asia.com/

  7. Well depends, between 90 and 130$ I'd say, but it's in anyway a necessary action when it comes to mechanical watches (I mean that even gen ones need it every around 4 years and a gen service is 3 to 4 time more expensive). You've just to find out a ref-friendly watchsmith near where you are (ask here telling the nearest city to where you leave).
  8. Sir, you have been given a really fine tastes!
  9. One of my friend has been the youngest responsible of a reactor in Italy (he's 75 now). One of the things he used to make me think has been: do you know that a carbon plant produce MUCH more radioactive pollution than a nuclear plant? It's due to the Carbon Isotopes that will finish (in the form of a radioactive CO2) in the atmosphere. Here in Italy they did a referendum right after the Chernobyl disaster, and (obviously) people voted to ban the nuclear. It was 1987 and I was 12. So ok, we went for oil and gas, so we're fully dependent from those messy countries in north of Africa and from mr. Putin. Ah, well, and we have nuclear plants in France, Switzerland, Slovenia which are less than 100km from our borders. And still our old reactors and their wasted material need to be safely treated and dismantled. Crazy...
  10. Hi Aviator, I didn't get a fu_k of what you wrote, here the official language is En. Welcome anyway
  11. I'd take the opportunity to service the watch: to do that job they've to take out the hands and therefore they'll put it back perfectly when it will be reassembled.
  13. So bad this has been "washed away" from yesterday fault. Ok, let's try again. A friend of mine is a engine engineer and told me that his old boss is also fascinated from watches and realizes some on his own. So here some examples of these incredibly well finished ones. They all use Valjoux Cal 22 chrono modified (by him) to be operated with a single button placed co-axially with the crown: This old man is also a quite famous engine tuner. Does someone of you remember the winning Stefano Casiraghi (husband of princess Caterina di Monaco) offshore catamaran? He was the man that tuned those incredible diesel engines... This is his story: http://brand.romeoferraris.com/en/who-is-romeo-ferraris/ And these are his watches: http://watches.romeoferraris.com/en/
  14. It's all knowledge friend, all knowledge Only making mistakes a man learns and next time is 3 times more careful
  15. DAMN!!! Got the wrong tubes. Looking this pic: it seems the diameter A should be taken where there's no thread. So I measured the BP one and it's around 4.35mm. Therefore I ordered the Twinlock: Well, it fits the drilled and tapped case, but does NOT fit the crown: the real size is 4.35 OVER the thread!! And my BP tube, over the thread, is 4.95mm Now again ordered, but this time the Triplock, and I HOPE that it will fit!!!! Will discover in a weektime...
  16. Rep or gen? In the 1st case not eBay nor chrono24 for sure, but here, after becoming a VIP member. If Gen, then here, chrono24, eBay... Sent from my RM-914_eu_italy_215 using Tapatalk
  17. New tubes arrived from Cousins Soon it will be back in shape!
  18. Yep, those ones I've already seen, thanks
  19. Thanks Jpz, I was wondering there was some top layer made of epoxy The reason I'm asking is because I was wondering if the re-shape of a Black Bay V1 into a V2 one is feasible
  20. Hi Mates, just wondering: is the pearl of our watches a simple ring of steel filled with luminova compound? Or is it not just luminova but has also some protective layer on its top? Tnx, GenTLe
  21. Sorry Gian, but this is part of the game. Sometimes it happens. Btw you should always consider the service cost as part of hidden budget in the rep world. Do have an idea of the reason look here: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/143915-faq-to-service-or-not-to-service-my-thoughts/ Ah, and if you throw it away, tell me where
  22. Ahah, looks like the avatar shows you after the DB explosion
  23. He is a great member, happy to hear this!
