  1. Ipcress, you're ready to join "Movimento 5 stelle" here in Italy. With these theories you'll have a fast career in that "kind of" party...
  2. Actually... I'm from around Milan and I've never seen anything like that. But ok, I'm definitively not one of those guys that follow trends
  3. Yeah, a bit hot these days But the 25°C at night is ok to sleep good with just a blanket Perfect for an evening visit to Mantova (I'm here around for work, but nothing is keeping me closed in the hotel in the eve): (this picture just because I'm jealous of your landscapes!)
  4. Don't think a discount will be accepted. But if I can suggest there a way: 1) many of the dealers practice a discount if you pay with western union (in Italy doing all online it's a free service), ask if they do. I.e. Torobravo gave me 10% discount. Also many of them don't accept paypal from new customers (again Torobravo is an example) 2) having more than 1 piece in a single shipping than you save on shipping costs But keep a thing in mind: shipping more watches together make the risk of custom seizure higher, so take care. Many dealers offer a custom seizure protection (meaning that if the watch get caught by the customs they resend it), carefully read the FAQ on their sites, or ask them directly. And remember ALWAYS to ask them if a model is available before to purchase and pay it. Cheers, GenTLe
  5. Mike, my friend, I'd stay kilometers away from H Factory and their bloody New breed Silver Plated Asian clone 25J, High beat 28800 movements...
  6. I felt the same, at the beginning. Now my wallet is begging for a stop Not sure I won Lotto here :D
  7. Ehi Admin, please stop creating new acronyms all the time. Now what the heck is a "girl"???
  8. Never seen so many replies to a new member. It must be the Alaskan origin.. Welcome from Italy too (32°C right now near Verona, Romeo&Juliet city)
  9. Thanks Ceejay, understandable and very good explanation for cases like these (even if I'm not getting how this watch is loosing time but still the machine says +000s/d): but so how should I read pictures like the one below that have 1 single line? Tnx!
  10. Is there anyone who could also explain the meaning of the graph (normally a line) below the values? I've seen straight lines, descending lines (parabolic-like), dots etc... What does that line means? Tnx, GenTLe
  11. Problematic movement. Stick to asian clones to ETA 2824 or 2836 (or 7750 in case of chrono or with little second @9 like most of the Panerai). ASK FOR AVAILABILITY BEFORE TO PURCHASE AND SEND MONEY!!!!!
  12. You can edit your posts within minutes from the posting (don't know how many). Surely not the day after. Best thing you can do is to contact an admin (i.e. PM to Nanuq) asking to take away your mail address to avoid spam and indicating the thread URL.
  13. So, when the super rep will come out? It's an easy replicable one, isn't it? Why is it not yet available???
  14. One of the best suggestion ever. (I'm not ironic!)
  15. Give a look here if there's something interesting for you: http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=25 these are good watches and he's a trusted dealer
  16. If she's a sporty one I'd suggest an Omega 300m female version with a Miyota inside. Great strong movement and nice watch indeed (but it's 36mm diameter, could be big if the wrist is thin): http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_66&products_id=11978 Or, also, one of these 2: http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/product&keyword=lady&product_id=932 http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/product&keyword=lady&product_id=522
  17. Give a look to the pinned threads here. Not all will work because most of these posts are very very old. About the rest keep tuned on the new posts in the general discussion area, and also look around in the brand areas to get what's new. You'll learn soon (I'm also newbie here but in 3 weeks I'm ok with the acronyms here, like DSSD, TD (trusted dealer) or ROO). Cheers, GenTLe
  18. Look here: http://www.rwgforum.net/forum/230-watches-clothing-accessories/ the first 2 entries are what you're searching for and it's a well known and trusted dealer.
  19. Technically not possible: even if he had a static IP address connection, there's no proof that the connection isn't shared between multiple PCs hidden behind a NAT (Network address translation, used by practically all networks that don't want their machines to be ON the internet with a public and reachable IP)
  20. Monday morning starting from Milan to go to a plant of the Company.
  21. Yes, here we're not speaking about the DG4813, but instead about a new kind of very bad quality ETA 2836 clone. Someone calls it new breed 2813, someone else new breed clone of the clone. I'd just call it POS movement...
  22. Uhm... So, his friend Josh as more than one of these crap came from that TD? The more I go on with this hobby, the less I trust the trusted...
  23. Let's see fitmic, I hope that in the meantime it become better I'll not use it everyday in any case
