  1. Hi members,

recently I bought the swiss PAM212. I bought the swiss movement because I don't like surprises. An expensive watch, but it should be worth it.

Well within 6 weeks the little hand of the stopwatch does not reset properly (bad luck?). And now I have to send it back to Taiwan or so or find a watchsmith. Just the hassle I wanted to avoid in the first place!

So my question to you all is: are the Swiss movements replica's better than the chinese copie movements (i.e 7750b1 28.8) What are your experiences?

    regards

    Huub

  2. @finepics

Hi, any news from our dealers on a new version of the 187? I read that TTK has some improvements (bezelmarkers, water resitance, 7750b1 28.8). But I can't get rough to him.... I could live with the 7750 28.8.

    any sugestions?

    regards

    Huub

Date font very unlikely to be fixed as the makers use the movt as it comes from ETA and do not replace the datewheels. He valve is likely to be the raised type as the factory making this is the same as the current asian version.
  3. Hi, yes I would be in for it if:

    - saphire crystal

    - bezel problem solved

    - water resistend 50m

    than no problem! :3a:

    regards

How many would definitely get this PAM187 with an ETA 7753 movement (ie. working date adjuster) at a price of over $500?

I know I'm waiting on this one, but how many others?

Maybe if there is the demand, enough people want it, and maybe we can do a group buy through a dealer?

Please post here and let me know if you are interested. :thumbsupsmileyanim:

  4. That would be realy great a 187 with saphire crystal, no bezel problem AND the 7753 movement, but.... has anyone an idee that that could be done? Is one of our dealer on it?

beacuse if so, I'm in for that 187! :Jumpy:

Maybe they were waiting till the bezel issue was properly addressed before coming out with the 7753 model.
  5. Hi

were can I find the article on line? I have no subscripton :(

There is a review of the Pam 212 in the latest issue of WatchTime...

It´s a battle of the Flyback Chronograph, Blancpain VS. Panerai

    Cheers

  6. Thanks

I looked at watchhonpo (my japanees or what is it is not that good!). Seems they have got the watch, and for a fair price! I've e-mailed ken (etaworldgoods).

    Fingers crossed! :whistling:

    thanks for the help

    Huub

I would PM the dealers if I were you since I doubt that anybody has that version yet. The only confirmed one is Watchhonpo so you might want to start with Ken...
  7. having looked around this new place, and I appreciate peoples efforts cutting and pasting, I cant help but think its best to let bygones be bygones.

if you really must 'dig up the past' then I suggest you create a seperate area as an 'archived' section with comparisons etc.

sorry if you dont feel the same way, but i think it would confuse the hell out of me if i came here and had not been somewhere else since inception.

I appreciate original authors doing their own stuff as I think that's a bit different (well done Joe)

Hi Agree, let's built a new board fresh from today. An archive section would be OK though.

    People SUCCESS!! GOOD WORK!! :yeah:
