  1. Hi all, I'm looking at buying a gen Black Theme chrono and can't see the difference between these two models. Is it just the strap / year on an otherwise identical watch or am I missing a subtlety ? Thanks in advance,
  2. Yes - thats the one. Did some more digging and the PB serial number is a common fake e.g. on Torobravos: http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=576 Either its gen (and a bargain at the £2400 current bid) or someone is going to be very annoyed !
  3. Hi, I'm thinking about buying a Pam 188 online. Its from a reputable vendor (and the pictures look spot on) but no box, replacement strap or papers. Does anyone know if you can check the serial numbers to confirm authenticity ? They're - OP6637, PB524880 and H093/700. Thanks,
  4. Hi, To diffuse any headline reaction, I love Panerai for their military roots, lug finishing and relaxed largesse. What I doubt is whether a robust Neuchatel movement really commands haute couture ? Please feel free to disabuse, abuse and otherwise lay in ! Thanks, S
  5. Hi, Does anyone know where to buy an OEM replacement or identical aftermarket ? Its looks fairly easy to do myself and I'd rather avoid a lengthy wait whilst an AP dealer orders then sorts. Thanks,
  6. Hi, I'm thinking about buying a 2009 example in excellent condition from a reputable London jeweller. It comes complete with original box and papers stamped by an approved AP partner in Udine, Italy. My question is, does buying a non-UK origin watch impact its value in the UK ? I'm not looking to re-sell the watch but do want to make sure the price is fair. Thanks,
