  2. That's actually not a bad look, my 1680 Sub has end links so worn that you can see daylight through there. If I pressed them together they'd probably lie flat. default_smile.png

Where are you located? I might have some end links for you. They fit my 1675 GMT perfect.

Mate it’s so comfy I love it! I’m located in Sydney (Mascot) Australia. You??

  3. Honestly though if anyone ever reads this thread I cannot recommend this combo strongly enough. Particularly since attaching the Tudor buckle it’s fantastic. Only issue is still not having the properly fitted endlinks.

As anyone who owns one of these will understand, the holes for the springbar is very near the ends of the lugs. This means that whenever you use the leather strap or other options the blank and ugly walls of the watch are on display. My current set up decreases this problem but still if someone knows anyone who is capable of making a set of custom jubilee endlinks for this I’d be very grateful.

  4. So I’ve had a love hate relationship with my first ever gen purchase a Tudor Black Bay Red with Rose logo and tonight I may have solved (at least temporarily) my issue with the way the watch wears.
I’ve been wearing my seiko diver that has a pretty comfy jubilee and I tried it on the and it fits ok well except for the endlinks of course.. Anyone know who would be best person to reach out to??

    Thanks in advance

    Sorry for quoting myself.. above^

Anyway so I found a somewhat satisfying result by just pinching the end links together.
Still think a custom full size endlink will look better c583f6fdd963c79e10e12998ff3f1dfd.jpg12d01ad54c80b99f66b5943fbb2c814f.jpg

  6. As the owner of a gen Tudor Black Bay Red (Rose log) I regret ever buying it especially since they bring out this beauty now!! The B.B. wears huge!!
Doesn’t look big but because the case is soo thick it feels huge and I never wear it anymore since getting a TC V6 a year or so ago. The Tudor B.B. is beautiful but not for me at 41m. Might have to flip it soon..

  7. Thanks for all the info guys!
What if I was to just do the lug holes and date wheel to the open 6&9 it will be correct for an R-serial (1988) with “service dial
And hands” ? I can live with this.. but the question remains: should I [censored] with something that is already great?? I’m torn as Im in no position currently to by expensive ST cases, dials, movements etc..

  8. Hey guys,

I have a beautiful TC V6 which I love and wear everyday even over my gen Tudor BBR but my grail watch is a 1983 16800.

I am considering having Ado or jmb drill the lugs and do the appropriate engravings between the lugs. I will also have a open 6&9 date disk added.

I will leave the dial for now as I guess it could have been added as a service dial??

Any thought on whether I should do this or keep her as is? ec946ab3c0b1bcd1a850d61c0c0286b1.jpg

  9. if the second one is the same as this one, (watch the video) correct hand stack

    http://www.puretime.watch/product/gmt-master-ii-16710-bluered-bezel-correct-hand-stack/

then its the wokky one with the date window too far right

So I received the watch.. Was not the one in the video with CHS and thankfully not all that 'wokky' at least to me.. I am however a bit confused about the CGs and crown. When I'm wearing the watch I feel they are wrong so took some pics to post here and when I look at them they look fine. Can you give me your opinion? I feel I'm going a little mad..

Ps the watch came on a really really flimsy hollow link bracelet so swapped it for a jubilee I've had lying around for ages. The thing that's stressing me out about the CGs is that they are too long and the crown is too small???
