Well I have several formal events on tap and need to replace my FORMAL / Evening shirts... ie White and worn with studs. 55-70 is quite reasonable if it closely duplicates the gen. Personally I prefer the look of the watch on a bracelet, but wearing any watch I prefer a leather band w deployment... desk diving makes a mess of a SS bracelet. I will be ordering the V2 at PT it looks tremendous I just wanted to rest assured I could obtain the alternate strap. Thanks for the helpful posts.

Nice choices here and the link to the tutorial was quite helpful, have you by chance tried searching for the distressed leather band also? interested if you might have found something close to the gen. Also wishing to confirm the size issue...

Etiquette demands that I must first say hello so, Hello. I have been reading the forums for awhile, searching my particular preferences and now look forward to sharing the excitement that comes with such a distinctly individual decision. I will be found usually lurking in the Omega section but the Tudor also holds an attraction I find impossible to dismiss, perhaps you too share this affinity and will one day offer me constructive guidance, or vice-versa. My screen name identifies my other obsession (GTO, Firebird, LeMans SportGT)... time and circumstance inhibit both desires, but nothing satisfies like possession, even if only for awhile.

I have a simple rule, if the lugs extend beyond your wrist (looking straight down) the watch is too big. If the size/fit is close and you prefer the watch then a rubber or leather band will look better than looking at the edge of a metal link. JMHO FWIW.
