It's amazing what lengths people will go through for such a petty scam. If you are going to scam someone make it worthwhile. Go for at least $100K. What is the point of screwing someone for a few hundred dollars?

Another thing... I know this is obvious to most.. I never wind my automatics, I rotate them im my hand/wrist to get them started, then wear them. It takes a little finesse to get a feel for it. I've tried to show others how an automatic works and showed them how to wind it by rotating it to get the balance weight to spin but some just don't seem to get it.

Again, I know this is so juvenile, it just seems strange that this would happen twice for you... that they'd they work for several hours/days, then stop.

The other big dial tell is the right hand leg of the first A in Panerai. That leg is short and ever so slightly misprinted in most of these PAM 7750 GMT's (Might only be the Anthacite dials). However, from your pictures - your looks correct. I hope that they are updating all the GMT dials like this!

What happened was someone promised they could make me a 161 rep. It never happened and I had paid in advance.. after a while and many inquiries he gave up and slapped this together with a SS bracelet. I would never trust him again, nor wish others to lose because of his dishonesty. I am fortunte to have only lost a couple hundred dollars on the transaction, if I count in the fact that I did receive something.

Yeah, The Chotovelli is a monster. I need a larger watch though. The Rolex looks like I'm wearing a penny and nobody ever notices them.. on me anyway.

The big date Bentley looks great! I'd like to upgrade to this one soon. Of all the watches I wear the Bentley draws the most stares.
