Ruby did that on my last order but no problem for me. I didn't need the watch on my wrist within 2 days (and it arrived about a week after my order) and it means that she is still inspecting (visually anyway) it which is a good thing in my book. I'll take that any day over the "pure" drop-shippers. Of course, stock in hand is better cause despite what I wrote above, if I don't have to wait longer than necessary then that's a plus.

Yeah, I see that happening now. Was working fine yesterday when I posted this thread even though that Fraud List thingy was there on the menu (I noticed it and clicked it wondering what was up).

Well a suit will last for years and years if you get a more contemporary/classic style e.g. 3 buttons instead of the currently more fashionable/trendy 2. So why not get while the getting's hot? Can't beat $150 for a decent suit. I also don't currently wear suits very much but my current one's not good enough for me any more (bought a few years ago while I was still in university and quite frankly, it looks cheap to me now and doesn't fit all that great) and it's always good to have a nice suit hanging around for when you do need it.

Yeah, I don't get it. Understandably it will be expensive if it's real solid gold but who's really in the rep game to buy a watch like that? From the other thread I started asking about gold-plated reps, a couple people mentioned that they are doing gold PVD now that looks as good as the real thing. I'd think that's a much better option (or just sticking with gold plating).

Good story. PS You mentioned the exact watch in there that I have my eye on - white EVO Chronomat with brown gator strap (want the VCO first though). I forgot whose own it is on this forum that has it on a gen Bretling strap but that watch is beautiful.

Agreed 100%. There's too much variability with sizes, fit and cut. I don't know how many times I've grabbed some clothing that looked great on the rack but like absolute poo on me when I put it on. I generally will only buy brands (online) that I know consistently fit me and I have experience with. But a L in Armani Exchange isn't always equal to an L in Banana or J Crew although it's not so bad for shirts, etc. Pants are a whole 'nother ball game. *** @kenberg: thanks for the reply.

Better move to Japan if you want awesome phones. By all accounts, they have some crazy [censored] over there. I've read that the US market, at least, is 2-5 years behind the Japanese in phone technology. And people can barely walk and chew gum at the same time. I'm afraid of what would happen if we put them in flying cars.

Actually, from what I've read the Motorola Razr V3xx from Cingular is a pretty good phone in terms of call clarity and good signal reception. They've reworked the menus/software so that they're better and much more responsive as well. The Nokia N95 seems to be pretty well-regarded as well but I don't need a 5 MP camera on my phone and it's a bit bulky IMO. Some may be tired of that "same old form factor" with the Razr but it's fine with me cause the phone is still pretty thin and the clamshell design means it's protected so I don't need a case. I do hope that the iPhone prompts some reaction from the competition (which it seems to be doing) but I hope that they don't all try to go the way of all-touchscreen phones because I really don't like that idea.

Honestly I don't. The money, to me, is much better spent on other things. In any case, my PDA (Dell Axim X50v) is not replaceable by the iPhone because I require the software on it so the one good point I can see of the iPhone i.e. less devices to carry, is a moot point. I read the news on Engadget about it cause I admit that my curiousity is piqued but it's annoying that everyone is speculating and claiming things as fact (again without having used it) and then arguing about it. PS I don't have OCD but I was recently diagnosed (at 27 years old no less) with ADD. Go figure. I guess they're close enough. PPS Shock therapy isn't my idea of a fun treatment (OCD).

I don't want it. Please, people let's not start the typical Apple vs. PC war here. I'm just not interested in it cause I want a phone that's good at being a phone rather than a swiss army knife and there are lots of cheaper options for that. I'm just sick and tired of every mention of the iPhone I ever see on the web degenerating into: "Apple fanboy!" or some variant thereof. "Steve Jobs is God." "This is gonna be the best phone ever and I'm switching to Cingular" "WHY CINGULAR????!!! IT SUCKS!" "This phone is nothing special. It doesn't even have 3G." "OMG Multi-touch roxors. It's gonna be the best and you guys are just jealous. It makes everything so much easier." And so on ad infinitum when no one has bloody used the thing. I have to admit that I am waiting for its release to see the fallout of it i.e. is it so hyped that people are going to be disappointed (my personal take; not saying it's a bad product just that there are too many expectations) or will the naysayers have to eat their words. One thing's for sure. No one has marketing down like Apple. Just look at someone like myself who has no intention of buying it making a post on a Replica watch forum about it. Then again, I think people are aware I post some random topics. Eels anyone? "lol"

I got busted on the Vancouver border once after returning from shopping in Bellingham. Didn't declare the stuff I bought (couple hundred worth of clothes and miscellaneous items) and got taxed up the wazoo for it. Nothing to do with watches but thought I'd throw that out in response to the above post.

I managed to get access to TRC today and got to view all of kenberg's goods for the first time. There are some gorgeous pinstripe suits in there calling my name. I am very curious about some of the internet tailors I've seen advertised though and I want to give them a try first to see how well that turns out. Not expecting a tailored Brioni or Zegna suit by any stretch of the imagination but shouldn't be too bad hopefully. If that works out, I'm gonna be one happy mofo. Prices are more expensive than kenberg's stuff though. Saw some ties and stuff I'm interested in though. Expect an order in about 2 months when I upgrade my hospital garb.

Whichever one Hilary lets him have.
