I never have but I definitely would as long as it looks and feels good. I wouldn't buy it just cause of the brand though e.g. I don't like those Paul Hardy (?) jeans and wouldn't wear them just cause they're the hot style. My favourite store is actually Banana Republic cause their clothes feel so good and their pants actually fit me well. A lot of the more designer brands (for the masses) like Armani Exchange, etc. don't work well with my big thighs and smaller waist. kenberg seems to have some nice stuff and I'm likely going to place an order with him in the future.

It's not a matter of driving carefully. It's a matter of looking out for the idiot* next to you. Everyone should take a course in defensive driving. Okay, of course we need to drive carefully as well. * And we all know that everyone else is the bad driver when we talk about it. Heh, it's never us. *** My favourite though is whenever I go on the highway and see the geniuses on motorbikes without a helmet in a t-shirt and shorts. Luckily they aren't gonna kill anyone but themselves unlike the football mom in an SUV too big for her to handle while she talks on the phone and does her nails while driving. I don't know about elsewhere in the world, but it's waaayyyy too easy to get a license in N. America and it's too easy to keep said license once you have it. Driving laws should be much stricter. Get caught with a DUI and there's no 3 strikes bull. Run a red light and you're in serious trouble. I speed, I admit, but the fines should be much, much higher (same goes for people who drive at 20 miles/hour). I believe that in places like Germany that it's pretty tough to get your license. I'm sure some of our German or other European members can confirm. So that even though there's the Autobahn, the people using it actually know how to drive.

I wonder if the car "he's selling" is going to be a replica too. lol Also, perhaps the fact that stars have touched it (OMG how fantabulous!!) can raise the value.

This is a copy and paste of my reply on RWI: Are you guys surprised? 99.9% of people out there will think the same. It's only people in here and other watch forums who obsess about all the little details that are magnified 3-5x in pics. Even in this CSI scene, while thye had a close-up of the watch, it was a fairly quick passing shot (just like it would often be in real life) and unless someone pauses the shot to take a more detailed look, they aren't even going to have much chance to even guess that it's not real. Before I found these forums, I would have accepted it as a gen Rolex myself. The biggest tell to someone who has a little idea of expensive gen watches isn't going to be the lack of AR or lume or crown guards or incorrect hand stack,etc., it's going to be that your movement is quartz (and ticking) when it should be automatic (and sweeping) and even then, some gens like Tag Heuer and Breitling include quartz watches i.e. the non-chrono Link and the Colt. Taking off your watch and handing it over or hanging out in ADs (many of whom are still gonna be clueless) or with watch-crazy people will increase the chance that they will notice the flaws because they might know what to look for and, more importantly, they might actually care enough to look/question. Everyone else is going to sum you up in 1 second and either decide that you should (or can) be wearing a gen so it is, or that you don't look like you can afford that watch so it's possibly/likely a fake. I'm sure we all know this although some may disagree with my last point about being "summed up" but felt like I had to get that off my chest anyway.

I'm pretty sure some of the more popular porn stars make some good coin although it's likely that the women are paid more. No idea though really on the women earning more than men and I'm just speculating. But there are some guys who are the equivalent of the big name actors in Hollywood in the porn industry who appear in lots of movies I've seen.

It's actually an interesting point you bring up. There's no doubt that pornography has influenced my own intimacies in a way but not necessarily in a bad one. It's not like I go gonzo on my g/f or want to be involved in 20-man gangbangs (uggh!!). However, I do think it's given me some ideas at times; especially in the area of role playing. Won't say much more cause people apparently don't appreciate my sharing. lol My last term of university, I only needed 2 classes to graduate since I always took extra credit in the Summer. So I picked up a couple of "useless", fun classes - one of which was Human Sexuality taught by a psychologist. I wrote a paper on this very thing - the influence of pornography on peoples' sex lives.

I've actually heard that said before. I'm not expert on Sociology or whatever science would apply in this case but I've seen it suggested that because things were so restricted in the past that it's now like they're in a rebellious, "breaking-loose" phase. I knew a girl like that in highschool (I'm sure we all did). Her parents were super strict and never let her go to parties, have a boyfriend, etc. Then she went off to university and the next time I saw her she was drinking and smoking, dressed all skimpy, etc.

Wow, that's pretty nuts. I'd probably be spilling my guts over the side of the boat...and then getting washed away by one of those waves. I like sailing (as in actually sailing rather than being on a big boat like a cruise). But on calm seas.

Take a pic of your watches before you go. Next to a newspaper or something showing the dates. Probably not necessary but if you're worried about customs it might come in handy as proof that you owned them before you left and didn't buy them down there. PS Wouldn't say that Royal Caribbean is dressy as opposed to Celebrity or something like Silver Seas or Crystal (haven't been on either of the latter two) but that's besides the point because people will be dressed up and there's no reason why you shouldn't be "pimpin".

I didn't exactly post this in the middle of the Panerai section. I am quite aware of the fact that there are other forums that are likely "more suitable". You don't approve? I like porn. I watch it. There probably are. Ever hear of neglect or people that don't pay child support. Plus, not saying that they're not worth it (though I don't have any of my own) but kids are freaking expensive. I don't even want to think how much I cost my parents.

Check with chieftang on that although I believe that the existing AR should be removed first because it will melt in the heat of the other being applied. Not sure about the process though but believe I read that somewhere. As well, the rep AR probably sucks compared to what you'd get via chieftang's guy.

The best I can offer for now is this pic that Ruby sent me before buying the watch. Not the best pic in the world but it does show that the outer part of the dial with the hour markers isn't textured like the inside and that could easily be responsible for the colour difference as per the appearance of the gen

heh, I was just kidding about blaming me. I'm sure we're all adult enough to be able to make our own decisions. I really like PAMs for the fact that you can change the look so easily just by switching the strap from a steel bracelet (which I usually prefer on watches but actually dislike on Panerai) to kevlar or rubber or croc, etc. Agree with you 100%. As long as it looks good, I'm happy. Try this and see if it works. Wow, you're persistent. lol 5 posts all in this one thread about the same issue. But hey, I'm curious as well. When I get my blue Tag next week (it's been sitting at my sister's apartment since the beginning of the month waiting for me to get back to the US to collect it), I'll visit an AD and see how it looks. However, my sister really likes the blue Tag and didn't make any comment about the colour being different than the gen. Knowing her, she'd pick up on something like that.
