I just posted a thread where I titled it SFSO automatically but it got me thinking.

Looking back through here, everyone is shortening the SuperOcean SteelFish to SFSO.

But surely that's wrong?

It's not a SteelFish SuperOcean, it's a SuperOcean SteelFish (I know this, my catalogue shows it, actually it says Superocean Steelfish so really it's just an SS ). So I edited my thread.

So officially from now on anyone who types SFSO is a n00b

I was away from home last night and popped into a mall, the first place I visited was a big jewellers where I talked watches with the salesman for a while. We talked Tags mainly as I was trying to find a blue Aquaracer to have a look at but they didn't have any. As I left I was offered a catalogue which I took so I asked for a Breitling one as well

It's late, I'm under artificial light and had a bit of camera shake. But I've not been 'artistic' before so I felt like posting it.

And this is why I would never buy a watch for anyone without finding out first if they like it. Watches are very personal things and tastes vary so much.

When I bought a watch for my good lady for her birthday a couple of years ago we went through catalogue after catalogue looking for the one she wanted, I got it and she was happy.

We've done this before. *sigh*

I set my watch by a radio signal-controlled wall clock in the study.

This works for me.

Not sure, Pug. Someone I know posted it elsewhere and said that he has two Rolexes, but hasn't posted any other pictures and he's never mentioned them before. You could be right, or he could just not wear them very often (I've never seen him with one on his wrist and he's never commented on any of my watches). He could of course have just downloaded the picture from somewhere *shrug*

Does the gen come in different lengths? As it's a diving watch I'd expect a super long length one to be available.

the only thing that I could spot (without grabbing his wrist) that wasn't "right" with it was the laser-etched crown in the crystal, and that was damn close.

From what I understand, the mere fact that you could see the etched crown from any kind of distance makes it a rep immediately, good call
