  1. MD sums it up perfectly. Where are those 'clappy hands'?
  2. It's a rep so it has flaws but looks pretty good IMO. Don't know yet if I would choose this one over the crPO....
  3. Great job. Hold it upside down and give it a light shake. Maybe a loose screw or part will fall out?
  4. Are you sure you have a 104? Because the 104 carries a7750 without the chrono module. There is no stem release screw on an 7750 so the chance of the stem comming loose would be next to impossible in that case. It could be a small thing like a loose screw jamming something. Crack open the case back if you can and see what is going on. Try a big ball of sticky duck tape. That will do the trick unscrewing the back as most of the time they do not screw it on properly form the factory anyway.....
  5. Indeed 2 things are key. Correct screw driver and crown position.
  6. Is this the ultimate version we have been waiting for? Dealer pics look like crap like always. It does have AR apparently so that is a good thing. The movement is a simple ETA 2824 or clone with a bullet sticker on the rotor bearing. I bet that the gen is decorated in the same way so that's ok. Link to website (click twice): http://www.1-pc8838.com/0059-p-13578.html What do the experts say?
  7. WOW! ... Love your pics! The latest version sure looks good. I have a BCE black-Arabic in my personal collection and love it so much I never wear it....
  8. What are the symptoms? It is a myth that you must not push reset while running the chrono. So it has nothing to do with that. Describe as good as you can what is wrong with the watch and if you can post macro pics of the movement. Maybe we can help you.
  9. MD2020 is the way to go when you are in the US. He is not in NE but that is what the postal services are for
  10. Great job. Often shipping causes these things. Glad you figured it out!
  11. Post a macro picture of the movement. Perhaps we can help. The Mark has a 2892 copy which is easy to work on for every watchmaker.
  12. great write up! + 1000 Everybody knows Rolex has the best Sub ....
  13. OP never said the movement has no markings. Only it does not have an ETA stamp... My money is on Sellita.
  14. Just to be clear NEVER throw a complete watch in a ultra sonic cleaner. I know it has been mentioned but in case some members overlooked it. Thats's the absolute worst you can ever do! The ultra sonic vibrations could compromise one or more seals and moisture could squeeze through on a molecular level caused by the high frequency of +44hz . So a watch that is tested to 5 ATM could very well leak when thrown is US cleaner. Just usesome regular soap and a clean rinse with just water so no chemicals are left behind that could make the seals deteriorate.
  15. Great watch and great pics!!! Thanks for sharing. PS: This one is now on sale for $208 at Toro's.... A steal at that price!
  16. Which dealer is this? That are some terrible QC pics.....
  17. Good question. I know Concepta did some projects in the past and so did Texki. I know Texki eventually scammed a lot of people. I do believe Concepta still sources gen parts but does not build anymore.
  18. I got some watches in the past that were 'serviced' by the dealer ... NOT! The only oil I found was in the easy accessible jewels. No way of telling they even used the correct oils.....There is no such thing as a dealer serviced watch. No Chinese watchmaker will give your a7750 a 4-5 hour overhaul (thats the time a trained watchmaker needs to properly service an a7750 ). They just take your money and say they did the service. It's a Chinese culture thing I have been told....
  19. The tube normally is pressure fitted and due to the difference in tube size(which is pretty much) epoxy is the only solution.
  20. If the hand clearence works out, yes! Also the stem hight is slightly different but most tubes have enough tolerance to accept the difference.
