Those 3135 copies are a PITA. Poor finish and terrible fitting parts. It's a real adventure taking them apart and an even bigger challenge getting them to perform well. Like I mentioned in my review a while back there really is no reason to buy one other than the crown position and gen-like time setting direction. One is better of with a 28xx clone.

Your watch maker is right. That is the problem with rep parts. So many variations. If I was doing the swap I would probably tell you I could reshape and cut the gasket but the watch would not be waterproof anymore. Mark.

I agree with all of the above. Magnetised and/ or an impact on the balance could have misshaped the dog leg or caused a stud to move. If the watch ran ok on the QC pics it should not be a big issue. Shoot MD2020 a PM. I think he lives in your part of the woods. But I think he currently is taking a pause due to a small accident he had. .....Or find a local repair guy. Much cheaper and safer than sending it back to China. Any how good luck!

Sounds like that watch is ready to become spare parts instead of fixed. The movement is dead so you need to replace it +- $300 for an ETA if you can find one. Ad labor costs. After market AR is almost impossible to source now a days. Fixing a super glued bezel is a hell of a job and getting that to turn properly again is almost a mission impossible.You first need to get the bezel of. Clean all the super glue and tighten all the bezel retaining screws underneath. My guesstimation is that you would come close to $500....the watch simply isn't worth it in my opinion.

Thanks for sharing your method but this sort of stuff always make me wonder how you feel afterwards? You get a matte bezel but a scratch in return. For me personally that would ruin the entire watch... I often see members trying to correct a mistake and fock something up in the proces. Why can't we just accept certain flaws? We are dealing with a reps after all. The mind of a RWG geek works in mysterious ways

Most likely the stem release screw. Do a search on 'stem release 6497'. Could be that he screw only needs to be tightened. Mark

I have no idea what a loading wheel is but if you can't wind the watch anymore it is likely to be a keyless, winding or click wheel issue. Mark
