  1. Come on Oliver. This isn't the Quick Burger , wine & dine.... Use the search function my friend. Just shoot him a PM.
  2. Needs bump. Any news on this from our own trusted dealers? Did someone emailed this contact to Angus for example?
  3. I used to have a contact that could get gen Breit straps with with a 20% discount on catalogue prices. A calf strap with buckle for instance retails for 130 euro here, and I could get it for around 100 ~ 110 euros. Unfortunately my contact went AWOL( what is it with these guys ). Are there members that can get genuine straps with a discount?
  4. can't really see what you mean. Sorry. Are you talking about the perlage on the base plate between the wheel bridges? Don't all noob movements have this straight from the factory? Mine at least does. Edit. I now see what you mean. The brushing on the wheel isn't really called 'perlage' . Anyway it's really cool how you are into the details. Nice mod!
  5. You could contact The Zigmeister. He is a great crafts man and from what I know has a real steady hand. Besides a great painter he is a master watchmaker and can relume watch dials as one of the best. Forget Domi he is a hack!
  6. Imo It's a production over run. Meaning mostly genuine parts are used.
  7. Woooooooooow I want to take one apart!!!! Curious when out TDs will get them....
  8. All this energie and effort in to one stubborn newb. Exhausting!
  9. Excellent points by Jkay. The clones are really good! Sometimes so good it is hard to tell them apart from ETAs.
  10. Haha never knew that. Then one has to particular take care the direction he brushes
  11. All ADs give 20~30% discount if you can negotiate. Especially on Breits.
  12. Wouldn't the stitches get fuzzy too if one would use some sort of stain repellent or cleaning solution and rub the strap?
  13. You both have some great insights and loved reading your replies. Technically you are right off course. But as soon as the stocks of new and clean ETA 7750s starts to dry up the prices will creep up to what they once were $350 ~450 (I'm not talking about old stock or second hand as they are cheaper but also dirty and/ or dry). Then it's an whole other ball game!
  14. It may seem that way but the masking actually went pretty fast.
  15. So you have a different opinion on the A7750. No problem! But I see no reason to discard my post as 'crap'. I took the time to share my thoughts with the rest. What have you contributed to this forum my friend?
