  1. Wow. Almost mist this post. Great write up of a real looker!!!! Too big for my wrist but it sure looks good on yours.
  2. Ah ok, good job You could take a look at the regulator studs (the arms on the balance c ock) and the hair spring coils. Maybe one of the coils got tangled up or slipped out of the stud.
  3. Looking at it is not enough. You need to remove the balance and inspect the staff and upper and lower jewels for cracks or dislocation with a 10x loupe.
  4. Look for a broken balance staff or dislocated balance cap jewel or spring.
  5. What makes you say that? If you read this thread carefully you would know 202 amp doesn't mean anything in this case. You are jumping to the conclusion that the watch needs service based on the variables of 1 time grapher picture. A picture that can show you anything the fotographer wants. They will probably give the watch some winds so that it's up to 300 amp, take a new picture and say they put in a new movement, gave it a new service, switched the watch with a new one or some other nonsense. Just because people don't know what they are talking about. They will eventually tell you anything your want to hear, just to make you happy.... So very true. TG pics tell you nothing, only what the fotographer wants you to see.
  6. Why not? Just relax. If it is a trusted dealer here he will make sure it runs just fine.
  7. The dealer is partially right. The amplitude indeed can be increased by winding the movement. Reading of the variables (inc. amplitude) should only be done with the movement fully wound in order to draw the right conclusions. If the watch would be fully wound giving of only 202 degrees that would be a bad sign. I doubt this is the case though. The person taking the QC pics probably didn't give the watch a full wind. Higher amplitude also causes a deviation in rate. They probably wanted to show the 0 sec/day rating on the picture so they didn't gave it a full wind. So fully wound it will probably have the right amp but it will not get the 0 seconds a day rating. It will probably run faster. I never encountered a new 7750 rep with an amp below 250.
  8. Wow! Fabrication of those parts require some massive skills. Well done! Why do you think the balance [censored] has a different colour opposed to the rest of the bridges?
  9. Rolexman

    possible?

.... Nope. Then you need a 7 day pr movement too! And the 7 d rep is based on a 21j chinese movement so you will have a hard time fitting a gen movement in there.
  10. God damn.... Maybe you can try that generator again soon.
  11. Guys, please don't get into details on how to hide your ip ...WTF?!!! I was just merely saying a ban can be bypassed and mustn't be seen as something that can fix the problem. IMO a ban works counter constructive. Now you know who you are dealing with. Whereas you have to go through the whole CSI stuff again if he signs in with a new username.
  12. For christ's sake!!!! What an obvious thread. Where there is smoke there is fire. The fact that SQL follows the thread but only replies short and to meaningless posts instead of tackling the accusations says it all IMO. On the other hand people. Don't think a ban is solving the problem. This situation is caused by SQL bad and immoral ethics. A ban can be easily bypassed and he will register again under different username. From then on he can continue his shady business invisible.....
  13. I was following this topic at RepGeek and I agree. Everyone get's banned over there, including me.... That doesn't say anything.
  14. The minute wheel probably has some broken teeth. That explains the clicking as where the broken teeth are the minute hand will jump forward when setting time and also explains loosing time because where the teeth are missing the minute hand will not move. Easy fix or a skilled watchmaker.
  15. To be a 100% sure you need to check all the seals an pressure test the watch. If not you run the chance of ruining the movement. A mechanical movement is unforgivable when it comes to moisture.
  16. Yurki has Omega 300 case sets with the plexi with logo. Pretty sweet IMO
  17. Send it to knowledgeable watchmaker. Should be a easy fix if he know his stuff. Mark.
  18. First thing to do is remove the case back and inspect the movement for dirt, loose screws caught up in the escapement etc. If you can't do this yourself forget the rest and bring it to a professional.
  19. Good info. I haven't serviced an 6497 for a while so I can't really ad to this thread. Untill now I found loose jewels and extra jewels floating around yes...but no cracked ones. This is a scary development for rep buyers. The life span of a movement with a cracked jewel is very low.
  20. What the hell is wrong with you? Let's see how long you'll last...
  21. WTF? This sort if behavior makes you even more look like a shill. Definitely not tolerated here.
