  1. New hands? You're kidding right? I can barely see anything! Nothing some rodico can't fix IMO. Just uncase the movement and gently rub the hands with some Rodico.
  2. Sort of 3D/ 2D but I hope it makes sense...
  3. Had the same problem with my SSD. It's the keyless works, trust me. No other solution than to uncase the movement, remove dial and hands and reposition the setting lever.
  4. ALL and I mean ALL have the correct spelling now. I bought mine from Andrew even after he said "it is as shown on picture". The one on the pic had the incorrect spelling but this was the first batch and they never updated the pics. As they all drop ship they have no clue wether the new ones have the correct spelling or not. As the new BIG Ingy is from the same maker I took the chance and guess what... I got the correct spelling. So the dealer doesn't matter (as long as you don't get old stock). lug widt: 22mm
  5. Due to the polished barrel I'm 99% sure it's a clone!
  6. Couldn't agree more. Based on his posts I would say he's no older than 18.....
  7. It's a V1. Overal pretty good apart from the date font
  8. It's a fantasy box based on a Rolex box. It has some rep assecories and a Chronomat instruction manual so I doubt it ever belonged to a Navitimer... But hey, what can you expect for 25 bucks
  9. The handpost is loose... not the tube on the cannon pinion. You need to remove the hand and use a loupe. Glue the hand and post.
  10. Cool! I've purchased this program from Offshore. I didn't know it was also available on-line. Nice find!
  11. FxrAndy is sending me a dead DG2813 as I also need a part of that movement (not the spring you're talking about). If the movement I receive includes that spring I will send it to you, no problem. Will let you know as soon as the movement has arrived.
  12. GREAT and I mean GREAT comparisson shot! Love it. I would really like to know it the bezel assembly is as per gen. It's probably not and just popped and therefor a [censored] to remove. That kinda holds me back on buying one.... as it makes rebrushing the bezel almost impossible. The BCE is brushed in the other direction and therefor can be rebrushed without removing the bezel.
  13. Thank you all for the input! It has been of great help. I'm still not sure if I'm going to give it a try or leave it up to an expert. This one I just don't want to screw up
  14. Dear all, I have a watch my grandfather gave my father and he on his turn gave it to me. I have no idea if it's an expensive watch but my father told me it was 18K gold..... and off course it is of great sentimental value. As you can see it endured a lot, but man does that ad character . When it was given to me it didn't work so I want to see if I can get it running again. Now I noticed it has a one piece case and I have absolutely no idea how to get to the movement.... Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  15. Thanks L! That's one clean looking movement and from what I can judge genuine ETA ... I got to resist, got to
  16. Looks great Lani! By the way did you ever verify (according to the pics in Eurotimez' section) if the ETA movement is indeed genuine? I'm still waiting for the lite version of this one....
  17. Great comparison, especially the pearl. I think your rep pearl is rather good compared to the ones I've seen.
  18. It's the same thing... there's always someting with this movement. It's like an Alfa Romeo, looks great but spends most of its time at the garage getting fixed.
  19. Hold your horses, it's still an A7750 so it will probably break down before july.
  20. I will take this post with a grain of salt, with some hammering and bending you can surely get the stem ligning up . PS: Thanks for sharing
