My Project X Heritage HS01 by Toro.
Well I am impressed by the markings as it looks like everything that should be there is there.
There is some issues though which I find annoying.
The crown is 7mm instead of 8mm which is much more desirable.
The AR on it is nothing to shout about, you can see the difference in reflection of the spotlight pictures I took in comparison with the rep IWC, the IWC wins hands down.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge

No lug holes and I don't think it's a 8mm crown. The red triangle market on the bezel is not a good as the one by Tempus Machina obviously. Lug holes & the crown can be solved if one is willing to throw money into the project but the bezel and dial by TM is problem that is not easily solved. Just the QC pics so gotta wait 2-3 weeks before it reaches me.

It is hard to keep track of the growing number of boutique companies that customise Rolex watches. My view is that apart from the gorgeous products from Tempus Machina, they all offer pretty much interchangeable PVD coating or hideous monstrosities of technicolor for those with deep pockets and no taste. One that I was vaguely aware of, Blackout Concept, has seemingly done something rather interesting. Want one of their products and don't want to harm a perfectly good Rolex, or maybe can't afford said Rolex? Well now they offer watches that look "cough" a little similar to Rolex models. For the price of a Noob V7 you can now buy a Canal Street fake with Miyota movement and Blackout's own custom dial.

What an absolute bargain
What a mistake reading this....i am now poorer by a few hundred bucks as I fell in love with it and had to get it. Got the Project X Heritage HS01 hehehe

No it's not a custom order, its a standard off the shelf piece from him.

My order is still in transit...stuck over in China for the past 7-10 days sigh

Firstly, you shouldn't of paid the premium asked for a Swiss movement because its highly unlikely you will have a Swiss factory fresh movement fitted, you will more than likely have a used, old Swiss movement with Asian parts.
Yeah, i am prepared for that. As long as the cal.8500 decorated/engravings is there on the Swiss movement, i can replace those loose/Asian/worn-out parts.

Just placed an order with Toro. My second with him.
Hopes it's really a ETA 2824-2 movement in there.
Anything in particular i show look out for in the QC pics?

Postage is reasonable though lol

Watchsmith had no major problems swapping out the movements but he did mentioned that the case has to be slightly tweaked, didn't pushed him for details. So you guys can consider taking this besides the base ETA7750 model.

My Seamaster collection, all genuine.
Bought them by "accident"....all of them within a few hours through bidding on eBay a few years back. I placed bids on them and was only planning to get one but forgotten about the bids till it was all over hahaha needless to say I had to do a lot of explaining to my wife
The chronograph is the Titanium / Titane version.....one of the most comfortable bracelet ever

If it's real then the price is dirt cheap

Need some info as I am embarking on a franken adventure.
My A7750 has been showing 1-2 issues (wouldnt start even after winding when left with zero power reserve). 1st time it came back alive was when I pushed the chronograph and the 2nd time it happened was last Monday whereby I had to knock it on a wooden table.
I just bought a Hamilton A05H21 movement which I was told is a modified /upgraded ETA 7750 with (1) 60 hours power reserve (2) improved time accuracy.
Anyone tried this swap before? Any pointers/tips on what to look out for?
-
Hahaha docthor, it seems we have a common interest for IWC watches.
I will swap out the A7750 to the ETA7750 if/when then Asian movement dies, but hoping that won't happen for a few more years at least.
Cheers

Great details, thanks for sharing

Problem is that the case itself is very hard to source as this 3713 is a doppelchronograph, been looking around but no luck so far
The movement is also another problem, I can't find any info on the web on where to get the rattrapante function

Hi guys,
I have a IWC 3713 dial which I am not sure on its authenticity, could anyone have a look at this and perhaps shed some light on this? It's a 34mm diameter with some weight on it, looks like it was made from copper/brass.
Bought it from eBay a few years ago but didn't manage to do anything with it yet, if it's genuine, maybe I will send it to a local watchsmith to try to clean it up and start franken a new build. Thanks
