at first i thought this watch was super gimmicky, messed up dial face and whatnot i didn't know about the hour hand jumping to the actual correct hour time.. ever since then i've been curious about this watch thanks for sharing

true true, but the thing with the ETA is that even AD's are mentioning it supposedly, so there's gotta be some grain of truth there.. it's one thing for rep dealers to say stuff.. but when people are coming in saying that their local AD's mentioned it to them as well.. well, same with the HBB ^^ I'm just glad I got mine already

ByTor beat me to it.. but basically a little re-thinking needs to happen perception factors greatly for these new high-beat a7750 and it's undeserved.. the "horror stories" were from the old slower ones.. this one is supposedly right up there with the Swiss ETA's specially after servicing think about it, you yourself said it fitmic.. why are all the new reps/best reps/etc being fitted with this movement? if it's so bad.. then why? answer is that it isn't as bad as the perception.. ^^ anyhows buy it with confidence if you really like the TAG 'racer, if it ever breaks down on you.. have it serviced and you'll have a keeper

yea, I got mine back then for like $250 ? but considering it's swiss eta, and considering what we know now about the supposed swiss-eta shortage? and the price hike at least that's justifiable.. the HBB price hike.. well.. my feelings/thoughts are already known about that i'm just glad i got mine already

just to go back to the original poster who is looking for some bling'd reps.. here are some suggestions -Rolex YM (bling bling, it's polished fer cryin out loud) -BCE GOLD, check out the one posted on TTK's forum.. this is classically bling'd out styling right here.. seriously.. it should be on your list -BCE diamond crusted bezel - pair this up with a black strap with heavy white stitching and you got yourself a nice subtle bling that everyone will be doing double-takes on -Rolex DayDate that has to meet a couple of reqs: ---presidential bracelet a must ---no diamonds on the bezel.. face is ok if you so choose but I like the Roman Numerals ---FLUTED BEZEL, this is key.. it has to be fluted imnho those are pretty much my recommendations for reps that you want the "bling" effect on basically, go after reps that 1. will catch the light, aka polished surfaces or gold or whatnot 2. good to the point that people will literally do a double-take on, aka the headshake.. look once, look away and then quickly look again disbelieving what they seeing there's others of course such as the HBB, etc but these are way crazy right now so.. anyhows, keep us updated man if you ever did make a decision -.-

the funny thing is these factories and [censored] don't realize the absolute insane goldmine they sitting on if they would just rep the bracelets.. the ss and rg bracelets, not the rubber straps.. sell that seperately and they would be making a killing

did you ever order this..? the weird thing is.. if you go to omega's site and check out the product details.. the 42mm PO clearly says AR'd crystal.. but if you check on PO BigSize aka the 45mm one aka UPO rep.. it jus says scratch resistant sapphire no mention of AR at all.. anyhows, has anyone here besides carlsbad ordered a crystal from ofrei..? i'm hoping other members have ordered this from ofrei and can let us know what's going on anyone? bueller? bueller? does the Omega Sapphire Crystal 062SB3063 OME-SB3063 have AR or not? gah GAH

I got both.. UPO for myself (Omega the younger hipper brand, imo) and the Rolex YM for my dad I'll take pics of both l8r on a lightbox cuz i haven't since i got them, it's about time to try and take "proper" pics ^^ it boils down to this.. the main difference between UPO and YM.. YM has more bling.. why? polished SS my prference? UPO of course

it's the weekend so as much as i've loved the HBB cer+rg this week.. no way in hell i'm about to put my life on the line wearing that attention magnet on my arm this weekend.. ok, the eyecandy was done.. but my impressions I've waited a bit to post so the novelty can wear off a bit and I can really post my true impressions for one of the most controlversial reps ever due to the price :X Pros: -Flawless Presentation: this right here is the single greatest triumph of the Big Bang.. the reason it has won design awards is not because of the so-called fusion of materials... the truth lies in the blending of textures.. as I said above.. you have mirror-polished ceramic, brushed rose gold edges, polished rose gold, carbon fiber textured dials, rose gold numerals with sharp diamond cut angles.. this watch is simply unforgiving in its beauty -Natural Rubber strap is highly comfortable :X I thought this would be a weakness to it but really the natural strap is highly pliable and surprisingly comfortable -Attention Magnet -amazing AR coating.. seriously amazing -excellent materials used (doesn't look cheaply made) Cons: -price -sticker letter rottor ---misalignments (if you're worried about this, the HBB should never come off your wrist.. people, it's game over as soon as people see it's a stick-on.. the real HBB's have it engraved.. so hello! don't nitpick over a little misalignment when it's the stickons you should be nitpicking about) -H-shaped screws need reinforcing for peace of mind (Loctite it up) -Clasp Edge: the reason it's "uncomfortable" is the underside of the clasp has a very hard ridge on it which digs into your skin.. easily easily fixed by self-adhesive padding (I use Dr. Scholls which I cut to size) or some people file it down.. either way, it's comfortable afterwards -NOT A DAILY BEATER: only because it attracts too much attention.. seriously, people cannot help but be enthralled by it -gold plating worries (comes with the territory) Overall: With all that being said.. what are my overall impressions of the watch? Is it worth the $800 price I paid for it..? Without hesitation.. I can look anyone in the eyes and tell them, "This is the best watch I've ever owned". My.. "problem" is this.. it's too good.. bloody hell! IT IS TOO DAMN GOOD. I live in NYC.. for the life of me, I can't picture me riding the subways with this badboy on.. thankfully I walk to work (only a few blocks away) but imagine if you gotta ride the subway with this or the bus or what have you..? It's a risk to be wearing this out in public.. it's not a daily beater it's an amazing change of pace watch.. it's a foolproof attention magnet.. but that's a bad thing folks.. sometimes, attention isn't what we want.. so that's where my reservations come in.. if you're gonna be travelling in public.. well.. it's risky :X anyhows, those are my feelings/impressions about this amazing rep ^^ thank you for reading
