Looks smaller then! Probably because I'm quite broad and my arms are thick
When you are sizing up a watch on your wrist, try standing naturally with your arms at your sides, in front of a mirror. This is what the watch really looks like on your rist and you will probably find that it looks bigger that you thought it looked just looking down at your own wrist.

Is this some sort of willpower test?

I dont mean to rant, but that watch is the PERFECT SIZE for your 6.5 inch wrist.
I cant seem to understand why all these people out there think they need to wear a 44mm or larger watch...posers I guess.
It looks great man, classy, understated and great for your wrist size. I have a 7.5 inch wrist, and i have the same watch, and I think it fits me great...but then again, my daily wearer is a 36mm explorer or a 37mm Daytona.
Yeah totally, the only reason I think it looks a bit small in person is because of the bracelet width is close to the bezel width (+3 each way I guess) which makes it look a bit 'bracelety'. he pic I posted doesn't really show that though, and it's only a minor niggle. I'm into bracelet watches at the moment so wouldn't put a strap on this.
^^ i agree.
i used to LOVE big watches.
i wore 45 and 47mm ones and looking back now, i must have looked ridiculous.
the biggest watch i wear now is a 40mm TC Sub and sometimes that feels pretty big.
i think my 36mm Vintage EXP I is the perfect size. i also have a 6.5in wrist.
keep the watch man. its the perfect size for you. youre not a rapper trying to "ball out" or whatever.
its a good looking watch. id just replace the hands and it would be perfect.
I'm with you 100%. Always said that watch sizes should be proportionate to wrist size. I couldn't imagine wearing a 44. A small wearing 40 or 41 would probably be the biggest I'd ever feel comfortable with. Raffles was away there, just noticed his site is back up again now, so going to message him about the hands.
The QC shows the micro etching at the 6. Do reps have those generally? That's some fine attention to detail.
I thought that was pretty impressive too. One of the reasons I went for this rep.

Big improvement! GJ

Because there's a section of trusted dealers it would feel incestual to name drop just one of them, and redundant to relist them all..
I'm new too, and purchased from a TD here. Just find a watch you like and contact the TDs on the board and see if they have it in stock and at what price. I contacted a bunch of TDs here about a number of models until I settled on what I want.
I fee you though - I was very close to making a thread like yours when I first joined. But held out (as I knew it would be a bit spammy if every member did the same, you'll notice they make jokes here about 'who has the best sub' type threads), did a bit of searching, and was Really happy with the outcome. GL!

It arrived and is ticking away fine (cheapest 21j movement). Time from payment to delivery was 10 days in total. Thought I'd get a quick wrist shot up!
Looks how I expected and is exactly what I was looking for - something low key and comfortable to wear. Going to make a great beater until I get an IWC 40mm Ingenieur some day. My wrist is around 6.5 to 6.75 and this watch looks just a tad on the small side (the picture focusing on the watch makes it look large, but in normal viewing it looks smallish - will take a pic later to show what I mean). I like watches to be proportionate to the wrist for daily use, but I think an mm or two larger would still have worked fine. I have a 36mm watch that feels and looks much larger than this . I was expecting the bracelet to be roughly done, (was even shopping around before it arrived for a possible replacement) but it's smooth and comfortable and wouldn't consider changing it now.

Pure Time this one. Should get it today it seems. Will get some pics up later if it does.
Hi
Nice watch! did you purchase at Trusty Time?
-
Looks Ingy-ish as the article notes (a good thing IMO). Also it seems to be Tudor's first shot at doing an in-house movement. Pricey - 3.5k USD.

Love the comments on it. Faux News is a magnet for inbreds
Feel dirty after clicking that link!

Oh, didn't know. Thanks! I don't have lume pics from QC so maybe I should wait until I get the watch to see. Don't want to end up with multi-coloured lume

I tried them abuot 5 years ago and haven't since. Too expensive. I'd only use them again if desperate for something and wasn't concerned about the cash. Lots of US stores now do shipping to the UK/EU and can charge you import at checkout so there are no delays (using Borderfree). So haven't really felt the need to use a forwarding service recently. Saks, ShopBob etc are where I'd usually shop for fashion gear for the other half. Bit of a tangent there, sorry!
Great help here on the Nike´s, fine. Regarding this forwarding service, is it just a random pic from the net or has anybody actually used it for shopping? Thanks:)

Lovely! Wish this watch was a couple of mm smaller and I'd be all over it. Disagree with the soccer mom comments. Quite an offkey thing to say about watch bracelets. This watch looks beast on bracelet. Looks class on strap though, really ace. Congrats!

Thanks but I wouldn't put you through the hassle til I've done the legwork myself. Will try raffles and see if I can get some there. Really good of you to offer! Pointin' me in the right direction is super though, saved me hours searchin
Yea. TC doesn't sell 21j hands.
You can order some from raffles.
I might actually have a hour and min hand for a 21j. I think they're gold though.
If you want em, I can mail them to you. -
Nice thanks, going to do some digging on that
Edit: It is a 21j by the way
Edit 2: PM'd TC about hands and told him it's a 21j
the explorers are great reps.
the main flaw is the hands.
easily fixed with a set of TC hands unless its a 21j.
there are plenty of skinny merc hands for 21js too.
everything else looks great.

Super [censored] run of bad luck there. Some f**kers done in my bike years back when they couldn't steal it. It wasn't insured. Lost nearly £4k after salvaging some parts.
Worst feeling in the world at the time, but I know you'll bounce back. Hopefully with an exceptionally good spell of luck. Don't let thieves break your spirit.

I'd love a 38mm Trans with blue dial. They don't seem to do them though.

Aha, me either! Really surprised at myself for getting a Rollie
I don't know anything about Rolex, but that's a sweet looking watch.
-
Seriously high-tech. Loved the scanning of the part into the computer. Not what I was expecting at all. Also surprised to read that the replica makers are sometimes faster at componentry than the Swiss.
Definitely highly skilled artisans at work here. Just a shame they will be condemned for it.
Really makes you think twice about the cost of gen watches.
-
Have already OK'd the watch. It's my first rep, and didn't throw much cash at it. Really more of a dip my toe in the water purchase than anything. Thought I'd get the pics up here in case it helps someone sometime.

The logo bothers me the most about these Omegas.

Hard call, both look class. White is more of an eye-catcher, sportier, perhaps more attractive, though I'd go black as my current mood is to keep things toned down.

Wow. If I was single I totally could not go to Bangkok. I'd literally end up like, banging kok
UK is safer. Ladyboys are easier to spot!
Are there ANY good Ingy 3239 reps?

It's one of the most wanted IWC's that hasn't been repped. They started working on it nearly two years ago from what I can tell and then the trail went cold. Angus from Pure Time was keeping people in the loop then he suddenly stopped responding about it. No explanation.
There's a thread in the Pure Time section about it at another site, geeky, reppy site..
Anyway, who knows. Finger's crossed! Only watch I'm waiting on.
There's a newer charity version out now too.
