No, it's not
I thought the 42mm didn’t have a bevelled date window?

I can’t open the link, but that pic above is of a 45mm Planet Ocean

OMG0311? looks very nice, but too small for me

Tiger woods golf watch v1?
-
I'm not using my rep TG strap and am in the UK. I swapped it out as soon as it arrived
-
great review - you've just made me buy a gen
only(!)
-
the cheaper version arrived, and it does have red on the second hand.
both look nice to be honest. dunno which one to keep.
doesn't help that i've just bought a gen omega seamaster bond doh!
-
Err, I think the one that you got is more accurate. Look at the cheap one, the font on the date is just plain wrong, and the second hand doesn't have red paint on it. You should be happy hehe. I wonder if I should order the cheap one and expect to get the more expensive one too

i assume by the link you mean the style, because if you ordered the $108 and got the $238 instead thats a good mistake
nope. i actually received the more expensive watch EDIT: to clarify, it was just the watch, no box, case, papers, etc...
would still have rather had the more accurate dial though
Andrew's sorting it, so it's all good
-
yeah, that's the one i ordered.
i received this one though

which is even less accurate lol although, it's growing on me

i just ordered the jap quartz version from andrew. i prefer the original non-dimpled dial
it's also half the price
and received the wrong watch (again) <sigh>

If i know i have a nice close fitting part then i use clear nail varnish, so far i have had no problems, the reason i use this is that it holds well but can be broken when i need to and cleaned off easily as opposed to epoxy or cyanoacrylate glue.
is it waterproof? ie can you still swim with it? (I'm assuming you CAN swim )

The Omega Guide got a small update. Some new models added.
I'm always looking forward to new member reviews (especially for the watches that don't have them yet). Nobody has yet purchased the gorgeous black Seamaster chrono, for example?
this one? http://www.ttwristwatch.com/index.php?main...roducts_id=1569
i really like the look of it...but am still waiting for my UPO to arrive (it's been about a month now)

My crystal shipped today from US to UK so there is a slight chance of delivery before the weekend on Global priority service. Can't wait and will update with pics as soon as possible guys!
I decided having read Carlsbadrolex's experiences to just swap out the crystal and leave the dial and movement as is. I do this myself so don't have top rely on a watchmaker.
whereabouts in the uk are you? could you swap my crystal, too, if i ordered one?
-
the asian UPO, is often called the UPO lite.
the stamp will be just to the right of the 2824-2 stamp. near the edge of the movement. i'm sure there'll be a pic of one on here somewhere - probably in by-tor's review of the UPO?
-
if you're gonna meet the dealer, ask them to open the caseback and show you the ETA stamp
-
I placed an order today for crystal and dial for my UPO 45. Parts should be here in a week or so. Watchmaker on standby!
you got the part numbers, so i can do the same?
i'll wait till you try them first, though
-
Don't suppose you ordered a few so I could buy a couple of spares from you?
Cheers,
Adam
I've a couple of spares. PM me your address

I really want the Orange 4th gen PO with the black strap and orange stiching!!!
the 42mm PO takes a 20mm strap. the 45mm UPO takes a 22mm one.
you can get a 22 hadley roma one from the link i posted in the other thread.
i don't think any dealer does the UPO leather strap in 20mm width
i obviously meant you can get a 20mm one from the link i posted.

I've been to hell and back searching for this watch.
The only reps I found was advertised as gens with a price tag around $1000.
I guess none of our collectors know how to source one too.
Thanks in advance
i'd love one of these, too!
