  1. Updated with DIY gilt dial + OnlinestoreHK hands.
  2. Printing test this morning on premium semi-glossy paper and decals. Its nice but it's not as good as on screen. Thin details like SWISS are not well printed. The final result can only be seen on brass plate.
  3. This V3 dial is very nice. I'm just afraid the 6 are not enough opened for my printer. I will see on a next test print. If these are 26mm, these blank cartel would be nice for my next 5513 gilt dial project. I could tap your case. Adjusting the stem length is an other thing. I make it for my HR and my Big Dazza, and I'm convinced I failed it. I read some tutorial about cut stem but I don't achieved to do it well. I have problem to screw the crown on my HR sometimes, and I don't know if I cut it too long or to short on my silix.
  4. Nice ! Will test print as is on decals soon, in order to see if it need manual work. I would tap your case with please, but don't forget I'm not an expert. Only two watches modded… Thanks !
  5. I forgot to show decal took of paper support. And for lume amateurs
  6. Thanks friends ! Yes I need blank dials to improve my work. If anybody have some or know where I can buy... Rainy day ;(
  7. Wow can't wait to see that ! I need another DG2813 blank dial first.
  8. Wouldn't this process be better and easier to accomplish with a vector based tool like Illustrator instead of the raster based Photoshop? Indeed. But I find photoshop easier for me as I don't know either.
  9. Thank you ! In few hours under sunlight (l hope)
  10. Yes, I will never use hairdryer again. But I was impatient like a child to put it on my wrist. I will make a better dial soon. Just need another blank dial. I used a soft large paint brush to remove bubbles.
  11. Watch rebuild. As a reminder, originally it's my Big Dazza bought in September. I reworked the mid case bevel lugs, drilled and tapped to accept Athaya crown V2, brassed the bezel, and sanded the plexi. http://rwg.cc/index.php?/topic/181731-Another-Silix-6538-project Original Big Dazza Same watch after my work Now with the new dial lumed, and OnlineStore HK sanded and relumed hands. There is a lot of effort in this watch, but it is worth. I love this watch. I hope tomorrow is sunny...
  12. Thank you ! Shrunk is not serious, I can reprint a new dial at will . Just lume work take time. I use Micro Set to place decal on the dial, but as I was impatient, I dry it with an hairdryer. Next time ill let it dry few hours.
  13. Case test Badly the decal retracted drying.
  14. Thanks ! Hands prepared this morning. Lume removed and hands sanded with 2000 paper. And new decals print in black, brown, textured brown for test.
  15. I use an Epson XP 620 5.760 x 1.440 DPI. My best print settings choice for decals is optimal quality + premium semi glossy paper. Do you know where I can buy bare brass dials ? Thanks !
  16. Will try I have to learn to use photoshop before. There is so many possibilities I don't understand for the moment.
  17. Thank you ! MQ pics are good but not enough with 830x830 96ppp I used this one 1024 x 997 300ppp
  18. I don't know exactly. I'm not a drawer. It one of the first time I use photoshop to draw something. I will look at this
  19. Circles, rectangles and triangle are drawed with vectors already. Markers, text and coronet are pixel retouched. I have to find good Rolex fonts and coronet.
  20. Yes ! Vector drawing would be better. Do you know where I could find not painted dial for ETA and DG ? I'm searching a good high res picture of a 5513 gilt dial. Without success for the moment. A Bart coronet would be nice. Center hole cutted Hands on
