Brand new to the rep game- didn't even know there was a 'rep game' until a couple of weeks ago when I decided to research replica jewellery on a whim and fell down the rabbit hole. I bought a sub (16619) from trusty time on impulse- mostly because all of the gens i do have are black/gun metal and i needed a good gold watch for the odd special occasion. I've been doing a lot of reading up since i placed my order, just saw my package is transit and i guess i'm suffering from first-rep anxiety. My question to your guys, what're some thing's i should be looking for/doing straight out of the box? Eg. What're some obvious flaws with Andrew's subs? The website describes the movement as 'New Breed Asian 2813, Automatic Movement,Rolex Style Perforated Rotor," What does that mean for me? Can i expect an obvious ticking/Is it especially hard to repair etc? The QC pics i was sent were from very odd angles so i'm not 100% if the date window and pearl line up the the markers- if that's the case, is there anyway to fix it? Is it worth getting it serviced straight away? In the emails i exchanged with Andrew during QC he assured me that it would be waterproofed (not just water resistant) to 30m. Should I get it tested anyway? Has anybody had any experience/heard of Andrew lying/over-stating his waterproofing? Tl;DR tips/tricks and insights for a rep straight from the box. Thanks!
