Theo is definitely a guru when it comes to AP's...he has/had at least a dozen of them (definitely the most impressive AP ROO collection on the board)

TTK is no longer in business... You can find them from the 2nd hand market (I had two of them - but sold them a while ago).. there are dealers like narikaa, PWC, Eurotimez who can source the same watch for you from the noobfactory!

seems that this "new watchmaker" is a candidate to leave the forum really soon... I googled his name and it's pretty easy to find his website and all the info you need - it says that his turnaround time is 2-3 weeks! judging from other members experience that's not so true...

any update regarding this project? is it still something that is going on or not?

I will not get this one...the wrong size is definitely a too big flaw for me...just like VDB said, this one is for the display purpose for every vintage lover, not for wearing....or it comes in the right size or it stays a dream for me!

contact Hont from RWI - it's what I did while I was in GZ...sent him a list of watches I wanted him to get for me, agreed upon a price and he brought them to my hotel room...we went together after the deal to the watch market, he showed me where to look for other stuff... if you want more help PM me and you'll get all the needed info... good luck!

I just checked RWI, he is still listed there as rbj69...last time he logged in was sometimes in January 2009 however, as WD said, there are a lot of unsatisfied memebers by his service so you better find somebody else...a lot of good modders here and RG from which you could have the needed work done

I had the asian 21j version which I sold to a friend of mine...the watch is now 4 years old and still works great...back when I had it, it was one of the most accurate reps, loosing or gaining 2-3 sec per day... go for it...it is a great value rep... here is a pic of mine when I still had it :

If you wanna buy some reps for you...there are shops that are selling reps that we are offered by our dealers(if I remember correctly they are located on the 3rd floor or 4th - I've been there 6 months ago, so don't remember precisely)...prices seem to be in the same range, they are difficult to haggle the price...better buy them from our dealers since you have aftersale service... however if you wish to visit the popular MBW/MBK shop for the Rolex, PP's, AP's....you have to go to the ground floor and look for the shop named "Nah Piek"...ask him for the good stuff, sometimes he doesn't have them displayed...his prices are fixed...you can get a minimum discount! nah piek is the shop where the first lady is at the desk : as for the gifts for your friends, I am not the best person to recommend them to you... good luck!
