I am pretty excited because lately I managed to score some pieces I was after some long time... the first one is a Vintage Panerai with an Angelus SF240 movement....my grail watch...I've been drooling over this one for a couple of years now...since I saw the 1st one done by WM...followed by some nice examples done by Enzo and VDBrouck... the second one is a PAM 036 with swiss ETA6497 movement...got this one at a great price from a forum friend from which I've already purchased a couple of great reps in the past... then I have two straps coming my way as well... the first one is a nice custom made hornback croc... the second one is a Julien Landa blue jeans strap.... Once I get all those beauties, I think I won't be ordering reps and strap for the next 6 months...yeah right! so what do YOU have on order?

thanks for the review...this model was for a long time on my wishlist but due to the fact that the on board dealers never mamanged to get this on in titanium, I decided not to go for the SS version (since the gen is ti!)... it would be interesting if you could compare the weight of yours with the one in SS (from another member)... congrats for being the only one on the rep boards with a 194 ti!

they are like twins, they are always doing the same thing at the same time...at the moment, both of them are changing their website addresses...
-
I did so as well but I never got the catalogue and the free PP magazine...however I paid them to send me the certificate of authenticity... but I've found out that I have one nice Calatrava that was made in the first year of their production and if I remember well it was the 1936!

I'll better hurry and go home to count all my PAMs! congrats to t for making this project!...I think I'll order some too...just have to see what I need!

there seems to be an updated version of the rubberclad on J's website.. -
maybe VDBroucke that is a resident modder for vintage watches on RG could help... he should have a PAM or two (that are not vintage ones) to try them out

I would love to see some pics of the grey color lume after the "sun" mod! I was considering picking one of these, but right now I am miles away from doing so...mvt, lume,...what's next? -
for the 1st tip is already too late...and that would be to check all the markers if they are tight...glued well...if not...try to reglue them...my advice in general would be to try to take all the markers off and to reglue them before wearing the beast... I lost two of my markers as well...the one at 12 hrs around the pearl and one other..the little baguette... my dealer, at that time, the magnific EL, sourced a spare case for me that is sitting in my watchbox waitin to be swapped with the faulty one...I am planning to do this for more than a year...don't ask me if it is FS, cause it is not, tried to take some markers for other members from the faulty case and didn't manage...so that's not an option... hopefully somebody will be able to offer you some spares cause I know that some members bought these just to have the spare case (yep, I know at least two sold in the 100$ range...and I missed them both!) good luck in your search!

dadog13 replied to STEVEN@81's topic in Other Brands Area
there are 3 new dial versions of the C1 REP...one of them being a Rose Gold...the nicest of them all! so there is the black CF dial, grey CF dial, red CF dial and black CF dial with RG insers and RG case... -
Like this or Like this or Like this or Like this this are all the possible faces you'll see that a watchsmith will make once you ask him to take apart your tourby and tries to fix it! this is why with the tourby's the after sale service is important...and plus Homer offers that! Priceless...

insane prices...but hey, there is a sucker born every minute who is willing to pay even those prices...or maybe not! I saw today some GEN dials for the submariners on the bay...seems to be a good day for gen Panerai spare parts...
-
it could be the best one...don't know, I am not an expert... but what's the purpose to compare a noob with another rep costing 3x the price of the noob?
-
Paul Picot Le Plongeur...a lovely rep with a lovely smelling strap (vanilla scent)...
-
it better should be better because AFAIK...there is a huge price difference...Noobmariner (80$ - what I paid for in the GB) vs. Euromariner (275$)... however I am not a Rolex fan and I am more than satisfied with the noob (probably will use it sooner or later as a gift for somebody)...

this is a great reference page for the SOLD OUT PAMs and the hard ones to find... you can see different photos / condition of the watches / dates when they got sold and for how much....the seller is one of the best around from what I read...expensive yes, but he carries from time to time some really interesting and nice pieces... http://www.watches24seven.com/gallery2/mai...0&g2_page=7
-
I belive the price of this varies to the series of the watch A or B...arrow pointer or leaf pointer...I am not an expert, but I belive the A series with the arrow pointer are the hard to find ones...and highly priced...the B series with the leaf pointer is a little bit cheaper although expensive for me...plust the two have the difference in the T swiss T dial for the A series against the L swiss L for the B series... this is definitely one of the nicest PAMs for me...along with the vintage ones and the 203!
