Thank you for the response.  The information you provided is very much appreciated.  I will definitely get some more pictures up when I return home.  I pretty much look at any and all posts regarding the 1016 so that I can gather more and more information to hopefully achieve a build I am happy with.  

From what I can remember,

case: JMB v2

dial: Whoppy dial

Any recommendations on a decent rep band?

Currently looking for some more inspiration and Gen parts as I am not 100 percent happy with it yet.

This is probably one of the hardest dials to get right... Very subtle. And the silver sunburst is absolutely unforgiving as every small printing detail shows. If there's a flaw, you'll see it like an apple tree in the desert !
 
Usual specs here. ST19 case, Athaya crown, Vietnam dial and insert, gen coronet and T21... A great late 70's classic !!! A statement really.

Are you using the cartel band too?

I wanted to share pictures of my Daytona build that I received not to long ago. This project started sometime last year. I knoew what I wanted but was not really familiar with the technical aspects of the build. Parts, movements, etc. After doing alot of research I reached out to Rolojack and asked if he would be willing to make me something pretty special. I decided on the Daytona 6263 PN Panda Dial. Something about this dial that i really liked. I put my trust in his hands and he worked his magic. He would ask me what I wanted every step of the way and was a huge help. Rolojack thanks for doing what you do. Also for taking the time, effort, skill, and patience. Let me know what you all think. 
 

Any additional mods other then ham the dial?
